Stainless Steel Snap Set, Marine Grade, 80 Piece

The snaps are adequate for the intended purpose of replacing lost or broken snaps on my boat tarp. The rivet part of the snaps is not as sturdy as the original brass rivets but does the job.

These look great but they are very small. My bad I guess. I have been boating and working with canvas personally (not professionally) for over 20 years. I didn't know they had smaller sizes like this. Never seen any this size on any boat. They say 1/2 inch on the bag, which is the width of a button cap. I will have to go measure my "NORMAL SIZE" ones now to see that the difference is. I will keep them. they are cute. Will use someday for something.

I am so happy to have these in Stainless steel...but, my husband had to do it for me! I did not have the power. I bought a hand-grip snap setter and that did not even work with these snaps...BUT, it did make a nice hole for the snap in my 'thick' towels I was using to recover my chair hammock! It all worked out and they are really heavy weather duty...so, we are very happy!

They worked relatively well for the application however, the metal seems to be on the thin side compared to DOT, Tandy or Fasnap snaps. Given the amount I paid for the (due to an emergency) and the amount of snaps I received, I would probably pass on purchasing again, but that's just my opinion. 1 star off for the quality

Product looks n acts just as described so far so good..too early to comment on sturdiness etc as only put them in place a few weeks ago but easy to work with n appear to be good quality as itiginal from Taylor Made

Pick a size/company you like and do not waiver. No two companies seem to make identical size pieces.
