No because this filter is 67mm in diameter and the lens from filter size is 82mm. You can buy the same filter but with an 82mm size to fit your sigma lens. If you have smaller lenses that are 67mm you don't need another filter just get step up rings to fit larger filters on smaller lenses.

Would this be a filter for waterfall photography?

Yes. ND filters reduce the amount of light entering the camera thereby allowing longer exposure times. Longer exposure times create a silky look to the water which is ascetically pleasing. Also good for moving clouds. You can find videos on YouTube that go into detail on this topic.

Is this a variable nd filter?

I've also asked this questions and yet polar pro hasn't made an official statement if they are or not. Keep in mind they are coming from DJI filters and now moving into the camera lens filter sector, so, i guess once they make money, they can RnD and start looking into the future of Variable Filters, since ofc will make their current ND quartzline obsolete. Their PR is horrible at the moment, no one on their team is promoting or marketing their brand, beside giving free Lens to youtubers with full disclosures.
