There is a hole punch that contains "rod" to poke out the coconut plugged in the hole punch. it is SOFT PLASTIC! Not good. No reason it is not steel/metal. The tip broke already. No instructions for one of the pieces

You cannot open the coconut
How much ever you try you can never open the green coconut. You can use it to make holes, just to have coconut water.

Cracks the side of coconut when used
The circumference and depth of this coconut opener isn't wide or deep enough. When I used it, my coconut cracked along the side. I bought 4 set as gifts and was embarrassed how it worked. My store bought one worked so well but cost almost double the price of this one.
