My 4 yr old special needs son always takes my phone so he can take pictures so I got this for him so he could leave mine alone. He absolutely loves it. He plays games and takes all the pictures he wants on his own phone. The touch screen is responsive. Only con is it takes a while to charge.

Amazing

Gets them used to texting. You can use real apps on it. Don't have to worry about a phone plan for calls because you can't make calls. Great for parental supervision on a first device. Gets your child used to the responsibility of a phone for a fraction of the cost. Only down sides are it's a little slow at times and the battery does not last long so it needs charged frequently.For the purpose though, I'd definitely purchase again. My daughter loves it.

Purchased as a gift for my grandson. He kept complaining it didn’t work. I finally was able to look at it to troubleshoot. It was not charging. Realized the time elapsed to return. It only charged when I would place pressure on the charger. I purchased a second one to think maybe we were hard on it. Hold and behold second ordered and doesn’t connect to Wi-Fi, can’t register it, without registering not will work. This becomes too complicated for a product for a 6 yr old. Called support they tell me we will send and email with instruction. Never received the email and verified three time to make sure she had my correct email. Too much work for a simple kids product. If it’s that difficult to setup how easy is it for a 6 year old play with. Done with it!

So my main complaint is that the recommended additional items listed on Amazon include a screen protector for the wrong phone. They have the screen protector for the kidibuzz 2 matched with the kidibuzz 3 and it does not fit the phone. I realized that only after preparing and putting it on the phone after spending my morning setting the phone up. I don’t want to have to drive the box to the UPS store for a $15 item that was sent to me in error. I now have to buy the kidibuzz 3 protector. Amazon needs to check their recommended items before listing them and it would have saved me a lot of trouble. I have 3 other children who may get this phone but hassles like this make me hesitant to purchase again.The phone is okay but a little slow and the touch screen is not super reactive. Although we have iPhones so it’s obviously not a good comparison to an inexpensive kids phone. It does work and you can send texts once you make accounts and install the app. It was decent for the money.

My daughter was asking for a phone, she's 7 so that's not happening. Got this instead. When she saw it Christmas morning she wasn't that excited, she set it aside and said it was a toy. But as we started using it I think we were both impressed. This is a great alternative to a real cell phone. She can take pictures with filters (snap chat like filters included), send texts with emojis, play games etc. It's almost as functional as a regular cell phone. I've even thought about getting a mobile hot spot and then she could send texts away from home. No technical issues with the phone at all, it works great and I am very happy with the purchase.

My Granddaughter (5 years old ) was having trouble falling asleep, her 2 older sisters had these so we gave her one filled with the Bluey shows. Her Mother set the timer and it turns off at 9pm. She loves having her own phone. It's my favorite gift to give. Papa will change the music, and shows as needed. The format for shows MP4. I think these are good for kids up to 11 years. The size of the screen is about 3x5.
