I'm using it for quite a sometime. It's a good product. Security is good.Easily swap between Windows and Mac.Compact size, good performance, Value for money, no noise.

Works well. Light weight. Had some USB issues while ejecting the external hard disk. Shut down the laptop fully and inserted the external hard disk in another usb port in laptop . Was able to eject properly. Only doubt is whether it can withstand shock if it falls accidentally.

Just got my 2 TB Seagate HDD delivered the very next day in 24 hrs. The drive is easy to use in MAC, no need to reformat, as its already in exFAT filesystem, which works in both Windows and MAC and its a great relief for users like me. BTW they didn't provide any TYPE C connector which you need to buy on your own if your device only has Type C ports (no USB ports available) , so make sure to buy a USB to Type C connector by yourself. I bought seagate HDDs where they provided the USB to Type C connector by default with the HDD but now they didn't/ The data transfer is fine though not lightning fast. After you buy this product , make sure to register your product at first which is very much essential for Warranty claims in case and if you need to secure your data, they provided a toolkit software comes along with HDD, which you can install to password protect your drive (if you are som much worried about your data visibility). Besides they also provide free cloud storage in DropBox which I dont require for now. The HDD also has mirror drives where you can easily sync between your portable HDD and machine storage. Product is good,My first received product was not working so changed it from service centre. It takes around more 10 day receiving the product but 2nd product was Good to use. No problem.

I had a WD back up HD for my iMac that was used for my automatic time machine back ups. It crapped out after 3 years. Found this product here on Amazon. Price point was cheaper than expected. It arrived same day as ordered, and it really was plug and play. Simple change of time machine setting to the new drive, and I'm back having back ups again. Only one cord to the iMac, no additional power cord. Great price for exactly what I needed.

This HDD works beautifully from the get go without totally needing a powered external USB but you might want one. Quiet operation and quickly moves data. Shipping is quick and easy in as the precision storage comes in an easy to open bare cardboard envelope without padding. Totally recommended!

Just what I needed.

I use it for the Time Machine and it just works.

I like the portability. However, it has McAfee (Security) and you have to be careful as if you click on 'do you want this app to make changes' it will change your operating system and I have to constantly reset my OS as soon as it finishes uploading. Also, not all files can be backed up. I guess in my case these files are password protected. I am not a techy person but do my best to program the back up files as often as I can.
