Highest quality, beautiful finish, priced right!
I love the blue grips of Channellock pliers. These are a perfect fit for the application of MIG & FLUXCORE welding. Nicer fit and finish than the cheap stuff has. Smooth operation as always. Went on sale at just the right time for me. And these are made in Meadville, PA. No brainer, buy the good stuff. This is it.

Solid US made Welders Pliers
These are welders pliers intended for use when working with a MIG welder. I got these a few weeks back and I've used them quite a bit. To begin with, this is a very good quality US made tool and that's important to be. The tool is very handy. Until now I just used pair of side cutters to trim wire, other pliers to remove tips and an old pocket knife to scrape crud from inside the nozzle. Of course when welding I'm wearing heavy gloves and it's sort of hard to manipulate regular pliers - that is to open then to cut the wire for example and then cutting. These plier are spring loaded so they open up them selves so they are easy to handle with heavy gloves. I had wondered if such pliers would be that useful to me but indeed they are. You can buy imported tools for half what these cost and they are about half as good. Spend the extra money and get a tool that will easily and cleanly cut the wire, remove nozzles and tips and scrape the inside of the nozzle. There is even a small hammer head on each side of the pliers for light use.

Good quality
I try to buy items made in the USA whenever possible. These are nearly twice the price of the Chinese brands but they are worth every penny. Everything works better with these pliers. They cut much better than any cheap pair I’ve owned. The grip on nozzles and tips is superior. They also do a great job cleaning out the interior of the nozzle. Hands down, the best I have ever owned. Spend the extra money. You will not be disappointed.

Nice USA made pliers
Had a cheap set of welding pliers that while cost effective we’re not built to last any length of time. The wire cutting portion did not cut cleanly and the pivot joint was loose out of the package while still functional the movement was irritating. This is a set of pliers that are made in the USA and have a quality feel. The wire cutter portion cuts cleanly and the tips have a nice shape to allow for quick removal of splatter off the tip. Nice well made pliers and well worth the premium price.

As usual Channellock does a good job. The wire cutters work all along their length. The finish was not perfectly smooth but better than all the other pliers I've seen. Most all the other brands I found, including Hobart, had the "made cheaply in China and barely functional" design.

Best Welding Pliers
I've used Miller's version of these, and can't stand them. These, however, rock. The spring doesn't quit. The nose is easier to clean out the nozzle cone, and then clean this off, than the ones that have cross-hatching (the Channellock design is a simpler concave scraping edge, which doesn't permanently trap the slag). These are tough, smooth, and don't flex, shift, or mess around, I get a good grip the first time, every time, and don't slip on anything unless my gloves prevent me getting a good purchase in the first place. These go with me any time I have to grab my helmet.

perfecto alicate para tener sobre la maquina de hilo
Lo uso siempre que he de soldar con el hilo y la verdad es que es ideal. Supongo que habran mejores calidades pero para la funcion que se supone que ha de hacer considero que es de sobra

Pricey but the nads
Fab /welder 20 years, seen various types of these and always thought " meeeh, gimmicky" and stuck to tip dip and needle nose. Recieved these as a gift and have binned the tip dip and noticed a significant reduction in shroud/tip replacement. Work in a heavy structural fab shop and a lot of the guys have generic pliers of this type, all with dinged cutting edges and mullered tips. The 360 is hands down better fit and quality: well ground, superior steel and laser hardened cutting edges. If you light up for a living GET SOME!

Lasted 6 years!
These pliers lasted six years of some rough treatment, handles still on and the teeth are worn, but better feeling tool in the hand than most, just now the handle spring broke. I bought them in September 2018, if replacement parts were available that would be best, but I guess it's time to buy again
