Worked fair. Gave 4 stars because there is nothing else out there that works for that price. Have to hold on to the end tightly or it cones off the screw.

This unit arrived with some sort of metallic mass inside its bit holder cavity, which turned out to be the retention magnet itself. Upon removal of the mass, it appears to be metallic swarf (metal-drilling shavings). In this case, it's MAGNETIC metallic swarf.Some reviews warn that the gearing fails in this unit under heavy use. I intend light use, but this specimen saw NO USE before failing. It is defective.This product is sold under many names, so my comments are not directed at, or limited to this particular seller. I am returning the item for a refund. Too bad, because it's a small, handy little device, and the 105-degree angle is just right for my application.Improved gearing and increased quality control might double the price. If so, I'd buy one at that price, as it would be a very useful tool.

Nice tool to have but this one doesn’t hold the bit in place. It just falls right back out when inserted. Can still use it but almost takes two hands.
