Sweet setup and good quality.
We ordered this bow for my daughters birthday. It seemed good for the price. I know there are good reviews and bad reviews. I knew that this bow would fit her needs fod mainly target shooting. It came just fine and was packeged ok. It was easily set up and adjusted for her draw length and draw poundage. She took it and within a two days of shooting, "robin hooded" an arrow. Sweet! It shoots great and feels good to hold and shoot. The arrows are good quality and the equipment is good enough for what ever you would like to do. All-in-all, it is good enough for what ever you wish to do. Good deal. Very nice in my oppinion.

So much fun and makes a great gift
Purchase this as a gift. My friend loved it! The set up was simple and easy and the kid came with everything he needed to get started. This is perfect for a beginner in this hobby and the thing shoots insanely fast and nice. Great fun for shooting targets And practicing bow skills.

Decent starter bow
First I do know the power rating of this one is off on its max or minimum or both, I don't remember. Other than that it serves my purpose of getting rid of garden varmits. My wife wanted to learn how to shoot a bow so since I've had some experience shooting a bow I bought this one to teach her with. As long as you take your time dialing it in its actually pretty accurate, I can shoot a groundhog, rabbit, a pepsi can, and one of those tiny little yard flags from 50 ft no problem. I tried to keep it limited to shooting accurate from my kitchen window to the garden so I dialed it in for accuracy at that range so I can't speak of further range accuracy. The arrows aren't that great which was actually perfect since she was just starting, didn't have to worry about losing them or her hitting a tree and ruining one, which she did both. And the screw for the head popped right out so I just got to shrug it off. Downside for some, the sight has a place for a tiny light to illuminate the pin which apparently doesn't come with it, but I didn't need one so not really a downside for me

Even better than expected
I'm so excited to start my new hobby with this bow kit which includes almost everything a beginner needs and the bow itself is of good status. I'll share my experience on several points. Installation: The one-page user manual is quite limited in helping the installation, but the 2 videos on the product page provide step-by-step guidance with details. I finished the installation in 30 min. Tune up: I know someone chose to take it to a pro shop to tune the bow for safety reason. That's the best choice, but trust me, it's not that hard and you can do it yourself too. There are 3 main parts which needs to be tuned: 1)draw weight 2)draw length 3)3-pin sight. There are tons of instructions and videos online. Spend 30min to watch them and you'll know what to do. The cable of the peep sight might fall off if draw length is increased, super glue could address the issue. Arrows: I've read so many reviews complaining the arrows. Maybe I'm lucky, the arrow I received is of good quality and just like what's advertised. The 31" arrows are of 500 spine, which fits for a draw weight of around 30lbs--a good start for beginners. Check the arrow spine chart to choose appropriate arrows. Most of the fletching is deformed during the shipping, using a hair dryer on high heat mode and blow 10 seconds could restore the shape. To sum up a work flow: installation→measure and tune your draw length→tune and find a preferred draw weight→choose your arrows→find an archery shop→shoot 3 arrows in a set to tune the 3-pin sight→Now the bow is your exclusive one and have fun!

Have the staff wherever you are going to shoot set them up for you, don't set them up yourself.
I purchased two sets, one for me and one for my wife. We took them to an indoor archery range and had the staff set up the bows. My bow was set up fine. However, the second one, the staff discovered a crack in one of the limb forks and would not let us shoot it, so we had to return it to the vendor for replacement. They are replacing it, but we will not receive it until Monday, so I can't review the replacement yet. My bow that I was shooting performed fine for two days, until today, when I heard a pop when I drew back to shoot, and noticed a frayed string. I took it to the staff at the range, and they said that one of the strands had popped, and you could see it. I asked them what could be done about it, and they said that it would eventually break and could be dangerous, and the fix was to re-string the bow. So I had them re-string the bow, it will take a few days and cost me $160 for the repair. This is unsettling because both bows I purchased have had issues. They are not expensive bows; you get what you pay for, but I did not expect problems to be present so soon. So, if you purchase this bow, take it to a professional to be set up like I did before you do any shooting. Don't set it up yourself.

Defective
Box arrived torn and opened. (I wondered if it had been returned.) Gave to my son this morning for Christmas and after only 2 shots it broke - pieces came off and string broke. I had a very upset 10 year old. Returning tomorrow.

Great for Smaller Women and Kids
I purchased 3 of these for Christmas so my wife and I could shoot in the yard with our adult daughter who was visiting for the holidays. These are very nice for a basic beginners bow. There's is minimal screws and assembly before you can actually use it. Very simple to screw on the sights and arrow rests. They are adjustable and we took advantage of that feature. My wife and daughter are both very small. I was able to turn the tension adjustment screws enough so that each bow only required about 30--32lbs of force to pull back. Once the pulleys break-over, the tension required to hold a bow at full draw is only about 12-15lbs. We had no complaints. They're advertised as low cost for beginners and that's exactly why we purchased them. They work great.
