Whink 01261 6 Oz Rust Stain Remover

I had asked the plumber that came out what would be good to remove the scrapes on the toilet bowl porcelain (coming from the use of a "snake") and he recommended Whink. Since it is trademarked as a "rust stain remover" I thought I would be using it to remove the rust stain from our bathtub (the result of laying the rusty snake in the tub after using it), but I read the directions and it recommends NOT using it on bathtubs. WTF?I actually had to get another OTC product to use on the bathtub.

I've used this product for years for a reason. It works quickly, easily, and without fussiness. What stinks is how the price has skyrocketed over past 6 months but that's like most goods these days. Only ordering from retailer on Amazon because local brick and mortars aren't stocking or it's not available to stock. So glad a little goes a very long way.

I've used this stuff on a bunch of different things, rusty tools, rusted bike parts, my cast iron skillet, a rusty necklace that I found. It's good stuff!

I needed it because I run an Airbnb and sometimes things get rusty or stained and it really does the job.Unfortunately it’s not biodegradable nor earth friendly… but sometimes it’s needed
