I don’t know what the bad reviews are about. Maybe they received the wrong item? This replacement pad is perfect. I moved my old phone holder to a different car and tried to replace the sticky pad with 3M tape and foam pads etc. but none of them lasted more than a day. So despite some poor reviews I bit the bullet and bought this. It is genuinely ideal if you don’t want to buy a new holder. I can’t say if it’ll work with other phone holder brands but one thing is for sure, it won’t be a lack of stick from this pad that lets you down! If it doesn’t work for you I honestly don’t know what will. As a side note, the next page of adding this review asks for a star rating for ease of removal. I have to give 5 stars as it’ll mess up the review if I don’t but removal will definitely NOT be easy. If you expect to be moving the pad to another car you’ll be disappointed. I’d call this semi-permanent/not for reuse.

The pad is good but not easy to find a flat surface to stick on

Quite a high price for what it is but saves buying a whole new unit when moving the holder to a different car.

Not good value for money

Does not stick to the dash at all, only sticky in the middle and nothing sticky towards the edges so just peels itself off. Don’t waste your money!

I needed a new base for my phone holder, because I have a new car. The replacement pad arrived, and works a treat. Thank you Vanmass!

Bought this to keep my phone hands free in the car and has definitely been the strongest suction compared to other phone holders. Would recommend
