2 Sets (6 Points) BALANCEPOINT ACE Moveable Points + Collars Mark 2 - Upgrade Your Hammerheads or PowerPoints

I am an "A" level player in our local league and I have been using these points for over two months now. They are far superior to the original points that came with my Hammerhead darts. The friction-based system used in most movable points naturally causes the points to loosen up (side to side movement) over time. This causes a "wobbling" that affects the flight of the dart. The Balancepoint ACE movable points use a magnet in the collar instead of friction and I have noticed no "wobble" in the dart. I would highly recommend these to everyone who has movable points on their darts. FYI, I paid full price for these and am not being reimbursed in any way for this review. I'm just a guy who loves darts and innovative products that help my game.***UPDATE***I have now been using these points for 6 months and they are still in great shape! I can't believe it has been this long and there is no dart wobble. I won't go back to the manufacturer's points again. Kudos to the manufacturer for creating a product that is better than the original.**UPDATE** May 2018I had replaced my original set that lasted me almost a year and was very disappointed with the second set. They changed the design of the magnets and the magnets fell apart the first night playing with them. I was heartbroken because I thought I had finally found the best tips ever. I went back to my original tips that were in better shape then the ones I played a night with. After about 6 more months, I finally needed new tips. I decided to give these one more try. To my great relief, they went back to the original style of magnet placement inside the point as opposed to in the collar which caused all of the documented issues! It is because of this that I continue to give them 5 stars.

I've been using these for 20 years now. They're by far the best points ever for use with Bottelsen Hammerheads. They last for years, the collars will never wear out. I'm using the same collars for 20 years now. I'm happy to get spare collars now with this order just in case. The points are also magnetized which really doesn't make any real difference , but is interesting nonetheless.The standard Bottelsen Hammerhead collars will wear out in a short time , like six months to a year with steady use. They become loose and then the darts won't stick because the collars won't hold their retraction . That's why these Balancepoints are so great.

I've been using these points for a month now, and i really like them. The magnet construction is different than the friction system used by hammerhead, so the feel is different, but they fit perfect on my darts, and work as expected. I've always felt that the hammerhead points were kind of cheap and ugly, despite working fantastically. These Balancepoint tips look good, work well and fit perfectly. I also like that you dont need a dart wrench to use them, they are knurled so that you can tighten with your fingers, and they seem to get loose far less frequently than the hammerhead counterparts. The tips themselves seem to have a sandblasted finish which is kind of cool... I'm hoping that doesnt wear off... Its been a month and no signs of wear, so maybe that will hold up to. I cant argue with the price, either.I'm a huge fan of hammerhead darts, and these points make them even nicer.edit years later:these are fine replacements for hammerhead darts. i've not run into many issues, but have noticed there is some wobble with these when the dart hits the board, as compared to HH points. these are also super strong, i really haven't had one bend if it hits my ceramic tile floor. HOWEVER, i've seen the price of these increase 40% since i've first bought them, which makes them much much less appealing. when they were $17, this was a nice deal. I don't see the "point" of paying more for these. i've taken a star off the review due to price increase vs value and the noticed wobble.

These kinetic dart tips perform exactly as you’d expect. The way they hammer themselves into the board and assist with rolling off of a wire hit and into the board instead of bouncing off is a game changer. They’re high quality and a great value for the money. I recommend these accessories!

After about 6 months of play they are still working as new. The bar that sponsors us has hard tile floors and bounce outs hit hard. The magnets have not broken like some reviews have stated, though they don't bounce out much. I can say with some confidence they bounce out less than the hammerhead tips I've been using for 15 years or more.

Two of the three tips do not stay secure when they hit the board. This can be very distracting. Would not recommend.

Great product for a true darter. I’d rather the moveable tips cause they cause less bounce outs. It’s true, I’m 629 approved. No lie their, they’re or there. Yours truely. I’m coming in tomorrow after I speak to landlord and roommate. Ok? Next song please
