Were lacking power
Put in device which indicated low battery immediately

They are batteries. Put them into torch and it worked. So I assume batteries worked

Disappointing longevity
Unfortunately I found the longevity of the batteries to be of a poor standard. Needed to be replaced within a day even though they were only being used in a remote control which is barely used. Bit disappointed with the brand
