We bought 2 of these for my 85 year old mom’s garden. One works great and the other one had the bottom part break off the very first ime we tried to insert it into the ground. My hubby says it looks like a bad weld. There is no way I’m going to try to send this 7 foot item back. Hoping for a replacement.

1st thing you'll notice is the touched up paint but at least they tried to cover the flaws. Unfortunately I didn't look at the weld closely and when I went to sink the hook into the lawn, the balance arm separated from the rod as the weld didn't go all the way around. I tried to straighten the arm but it isn't as square as it was. I soaked the lawn more and put it in again. It isn't as straight as it would have been but at least it's up. I would like to change the location but am truly scared the small arm will break off and it will be unforeseeable #madeinchina

It's a solidly constructed stand that I purchased to hang a hummingbird feeder off of. It arrived in a ridiculously huge box.The stand, it turned out, is woefully too short. The description was accurate, however. I just didn't take into account that part of the pole would be underneath the dirt, so the height isn't what I anticipated. If you want a pole that will be 65" off the ground, you need to get one that is 70" or more. I might still give this one a try and see if the hummers will come, or else I'll end up giving this one away.

I liked it so much I bough another. I noticed all of the items they recommended to hang and I wanted my new Koshi - Earth x 1 $65 andKoshi - Water x 1 $65 chimes. Imagine a nice gentle breeze in your backyard followed by the most angelic sound you could ever imagine. The Shepard hook makes it all look amazing too and brings a special drama to the space. I rarely write reviews but I love my product and how it makes me feel at the end of a long day.

There’s no way that this is 65” tall. Even if they’re measuring from what goes in the ground to the top, absolutely not. I stand 62” tall, and this only comes up to my hip.Furthermore, it’s not very sturdy. I bought it to hold up my hummingbird feeder, and it bows over. My feeder may be heavy, but I’m mostly upset about how low it is to the ground. Wish it was taller.Read the reviews before you buy!!

We bought this to support a humming bird feeder. It is sturdy and well constructed; however is a little short for our needs. Even though identified as being 65" long, this includes the part in the ground and the distance above the support hook. I measure about 51-1/2" of usable height from the surface of the ground to the top of the support hook. This means that you have a little bit more than 4' to work with. Start with this and then subtract the length of whatever it is that you will hang from it in order to understand how low the bottom will be. In our case the humming bird feeder by itself was not too bad. The feeder is about 11-1/2" long so the bottom is about 40" above the ground. We are novices with the humming birds and didn't know that we would most likely need to insert an ant trap into the hanging sequence which lowers the feeder even lower and approaching 3 ft of clearance which for me is too low. As long as you are aware of these limitation, the hook is great, but..... the 65 inches in the description is extremely misleading. My uninformed guess is that the length is limited by what can be cost effectively shipped through the mail / ups. I will most likely purchase a taller hook and use this one for my wife's hanging plants. Good Luck!

Very short. My fault because I did not read the description thoroughly. I wanted it for a bird feeder but while the birds feed, cats may feed on the birds - it is THAT low to the ground. By the time you push the two prongs thoroughly into the ground the very TOP of the hook is only 48" from the ground ....... when you actually hang something on it, like a flower basket or a birdfeeder it hangs down to only about 2.5" from the ground. Not useful for the purpose I intended it for, but maybe useful for others.

I bought these to hold up some pathway lanterns and they worked great! At first they seemed a little too tall but once they were in the ground they were actually the perfect height.They're sturdy and they stay straight up, which was a concern of mine. Great product!
