Great quality during the day, not so much at night
I bought and installed two of these cameras in the spring of 2019. Both of them are still going strong. PTZ functionality has worked flawlessly even during extreme heat and cold. The image quality during the day is superb and the interface used to configure them is relatively easy to use. The small form factor is a plus and most people don't even notice them. The area where this cameras doesn't shine is low-light, color performance. Even after carefully tuning image and video settings, you'd be hard pressed to actually identify someone unless this camera was mounted where there is very bright lighting or the person was just a few feet from the camera. If Hikvision would release this camera with a 1/1.8" low-light sensor, this camera would be the ideal mix of PTZ functionality, great image quality and low-light, night performance. Right now, it only gets half the job done.I've attached two captures of the resident fox. The darker one was taken from Hik footage, the brighter one was taken from footage recorded by a camera that uses a 1/1.8" Starlight sensor. The two cameras are about 5' apart. If you're looking for great day time image quality, PTZ capabilities and don't care if your night footage is black and white, this is a great camera. If you need color at night, this camera probably won't get the job done. Hopefully, the folks at Hikvision will release an updated version of this sweet, little camera that has improved low-light capabilities.

Great camera for home or business use
I am an electrical engineer, and I have bought a couple dozen of these cameras to upgrade security cameras for my wife's small retail business These cameras are Hikvision compatible, and the audio recording is a great feature. You can connect these cameras to a smartphone app that will allow you to monitor the camera remotely, to configure the cameras and to playback video already recorded. If you want to enable two-way audio, you'll need to purchase and install an external speaker for the unit. You can add a micro-SD memory card for video recording, and the camera can be configured to work with a Network Attached Storage device. Overall, a good solid surveillance camera that does Pan, Tilt and Zoom; and it's at a decent price point.

Excellent color rendition
I've been using a couple of these cameras for about a year, and just ordered two more. The good parts:The color (in daylight of course) is brilliant and true and pictures are crisp and very life-like. They obey all ptz commands flawlessly. While they don't rotate continuously, you still have 360 degree vision. Night vision is stunning, but let me add that in both my installations I am not depending on the built-in IR lighting. I have separate IR lights mounted on the same poles as the cameras. Night detail is almost as crisp as during the day.The bad parts:After nearly a year, both units took in heavy water during a downpour. I'm not talking about condensation - I mean liquid water. I had to take both units down, remove the dome and POUR out water. I am not sure where it entered, but on remounting the units, I decided to cover both so that they are no longer exposed to direct rain. So far, so good. But no matter how I've cleaned the plastic domes, I now have serious blurring and areas of whiteout during night vision. This is having taken great care not to get finger prints etc on the domes. I've scoured YouTube for suggestions but to date nothing has helped.Presets: the original units did not do presets. I'm not sure if this was because they weren't loaded with a microSD. I've now installed memory so I will see if they can now store presets and do patrols.Summary:Overall, an excellent investment for the price. I've taken one star off for the water problem.

Excellent performing mini-ptz
I bought this to replace a Hik 2.4mm turret and I am more than happy with the results. With this being said, this is definitely a value-model and will not have a lot of the bells and whistles for tracking objects/motion. If you're simply wanting to have a visible area multiplier, as I did, this well-exceeds any other device in size and features. Optical zoom/focus is my favorite feature. Night vision is decent, especially if you have other IR sources. Speed is adequate. Software is no different than other Hikvision products. I am using BlueIris and am pleased with the level of compatibility and relative ease of getting it connected. Physical installation was a little difficult as the protective shroud is made so that if you use anything other than the supplied screws (my application called for self-tapping sheet metal screws) it will hit on the screw heads and not secure properly.
