Fire Force A.L.I.C.E. Pack Kidney Pad with Waist Strap and Frame attaching Belt LC-2 Kidney Pad Made in USA

This product seems to be a vastly improved upgrade from the U.S. issue A.L.I.C.E. Pack kidney pad. I recently purchased a large A.L.I.C.E. pack rucksack in never issued - new condition, and I put it on with this pad while the pack was empty, and noted that the pad hugged my waist / midsection rather well - resulting in no discernible pinch or pressure points. I gave it only four out of five stars because I do have concerns about the pad having to possibly be re-adjusted / tightened up a little frequently in prolonged use where it actually fastens to the frame (attachment buckle) - but I will admit that this pad is a VAST improvement over the original pad orthopedically, and ergonomically. I was originally going to get a MOLLE II kidney belt to replace the A.L.I.C.E. pad - but with the Fire Force pad - I don't think that that is at all necessary. This pad seems to work great!!!

This belt replacement is almost perfect it fits around my big frame (42in waist) and is extremely comfortable. The only way it could be better is a pocket or molle for attaching a pouch ( I found the one with molle after I received this) for in front of the waist stowage.

Got it so it would match my desert Spec Ops Recon Ruck ALICE pack and i couldnt ask for anything better!

Fits great, long enough strap for a stalky build guy. Clip to attach pad to frame pack was the weakest piece on the entire pad. Otherwise very pleased, better than expected as far as fit and wearability. yep, I made that word up. It's comfortable for a long hike and a definite upgrade from the original pad that comes with most frames. Would like to see an improvement on that pack clip, but would buy again.

Very quick shipping. Installed this pad on an old ALICE frame and it fit in perfectly. Used it and it is very comfortable for keeping medium to light loads in place. I definitely recommend this.

Great customer service and a great replacement for issued ALICE pack kidney pad. No more webbelt digging into hips this has padding all around. A better alternative than using MOLLE pack kidney pad. Easy installation.

Strap to attach to the frame was not long enough to loop through. The loop with the strap was made of plastic. I am carrying 25lbs for 18 miles and not sure if it will even hold up. Would return if I could. The product has good intention but was cheaply made...
