Absolute Garbage
My car was wreced in March 7, 2021, hit in the front end by a redlight runner. After 6 weeks of working 12 hours a day to repair it I bought these hood pins and installed them, the first trip I took in my car after not having it for about 2 mos, these latches failed on the highway at 70 mph causing my hood to slap back through the windshield and destroying the entire front end of my R53 Mini Cooper S. At first I thought maybe I had done something wrong, and so today we just did a snap test, and these things pop off their ball stud with little to no pull AT ALL! I am SO agravated! Thanks for putting something out to market that is absolute junk, unsafe and unreliable!

Not worth it
Luckily I purchased 8 of these and only needed 4 as 2 of them quit latching the first time I unlatched them. There’s 3 small balls inside that latch to the studs, several of them popped out and are so small that they were gone the minute they hit the floor. I will be replacing these with quality ones. I planned on using them to mount small interior panels. For the love god DONT MOUNT BODY PANELS WITH THEM. I have no doubt that they will not hold.

Helps narrowing gaps between the body & the bumpers
My ride is 2004 Acura TL. The TL's are made in Ohio on the same platform as Accords. I hate to say, but unlike the TSX that are made in Japan (called Accord Euro in Japan), the quality control is not on par and there are noticeable gaps between the body & bumpers. The worst section had as much as 1cm of a gap. I needed something to correct the issue without spending $$$ at a body shop. These happen to be the best solution for correcting the issue. On LH & RH side of the rear bumper, I was able to narrow the gap by more than half (there are still gaps, but are a lot less noticeable). I used a Unibit, or step-drill bit to drill holes on the PPP bumper. The key is to make the hole slightly smaller than the collar, so that they fit snugly and the nut & Loctite would make it loosening-free. I installed x3 of these on each side (a total of 6). Like many things, these are made in China but the quality isn't so bad so I gave them a 4-star.

Broke after one day
The internals of one pulled or backed out after the first day. Maybe I got a dud

Junk- failed after first use post the installation
Out of the bag, the engage and disengage was smooth and easy. Installation was a pain, because you have to have the post positioned at just the right level, or there will be play between the lock button and post. After installing, two of 4 quick releases imploded into pieces and failed. A third no longer engages the post. These are junk.
