Awesome addition to my custom controller set up. I don’t really notice the convenience in most of the buttons, but to have my l2 & r2 buttons respond like mouse clicks has made a big improvement on my game play especially with pistols, semi auto rifles and any automatic guns with a lot of recoil. If you don’t like/can’t get used to flipping your buttons so l1 & r1 are “ads” and “fire” then this definitely is an inexpensive alternative. Cheap, easy to install (as long as you have basic experience with dismantling controllers & if not there is step by step tutorials on you tube) My only concern is how long the micro buttons will last but there was an extra set of rubber grommets (these fit inside the button moulds to make soft contact with the micro buttons) so I’m assuming the manufacture has tested button repetition. As long as it last through at least two controllers (3 to 4 years) then this is definitely a bargain edition to add to your controller.

this saved my broken scuf controller. my controller broke as 2 buttons stopped working, so I tried this and it was easy to install it works so much better than the original buttons if you play FPS games as there is basically no travel time compared to your traditional analog sticks. though they’re probably not best suited to racing games and other similar games.

It was bit hard but final result was amazing

solid mod for any gamer not good for racing games tho. well worth the money for anything else

Generally, it's a great design and works well when the rubber inserts for the buttons aren't collapsing into the holes they slot into. Unfortunately, these inserts only have a single strip of rubber to hold them in the cylidrical button holes, so they start going off center and sinking deeper into the button, making for sunken, wonky, and sticky buttons. A cross of rubber would work better, but I'm going to have to take it apart again after resitting them twice and look for something else that'll stay in place for good. To be honest, considering the quality of the rest of the kit, it's a bit of a surprising and easily avoided flaw.

Wow! Actually incredible impressed been a long time Scuf user but since trying the Envision and dealing with their woeful after sales support I wouldn’t touch another. Purchased this on a whim alongside the Black Dawn Remap Kit, really easy to fit, might be considered fiddly if you were not tech minded, some slight modification needed so that triggers click properly but really impressed will definitely be buying more kits and mods! 5*

I only wanted clicky face buttons and wanted to keep the triggers as analog inputs. There's no clicky face button kit but it's easy to modify this one. I snipped off the shoulder and trigger buttons, see the pictures. The traces are isolated so it won't affect the rest of the buttons. I installed it on top of the original conductive film and it works perfectly!

other than trigger plastic (clear one it comes with) needing sanding to fit right its really easy to install and its a must have if you plan on modding a ps4 controller
