Loved the color and design of course, but this was the perfect purse for me for traveling. So many nice theft proof features built in along with RFID for my credit cards. The size was perfect because I could put it in my backpack when boarding the plane and not be detained because I was caring too many items on board. The purse is well made and has plenty of locking zippers and even a mini flashlight inside. I felt very comfortable using this purse.

This bag holds necessities, can be locked, and has good Credit card/drivers license slots zippered into inside compartment.I like the travel and security features. The island is a good quality nylon in the bag is not overly heavy.

Not knowing which Travelon bag would work for me I purchased four to compare them.Of the four the East/West crossbody bag was the least expensive and had the most capacious pockets.It is shorter and wider than the both the classic black and the Mini shoulder bag, measuring about 8.5 inches in length and 11 inches in width.It has three pockets, as compared to the four of the mini shoulder bag, however these pockets are larger and are easier to get into. It definitely feels like it would hold more. All the pockets are lockable, as opposed to the mini shoulder bag of which only 2 of the 4 are lockable.1. The lockable front pocket is wide, almost 6 inches deep and has no organizational pockets.2. The lockable main pocket has three credit card pockets, a passport pocket, a cell phone pocket, and a wide zippered interior pocket. It also has a light to help you find things. It feels like it could fit more in than the mini shoulder bag, despite being only slightly larger. I believe at least this pocket is RIFD safe - I am unsure if they all are.3. The locking back pocket clip feels oddly placed. I had a difficult time getting it open, and every time I've locked/unlocked it it's needed two hands and some fiddling. If I kept this bag - which because of the fiddliness I may not - I imagine this pocket would remain unlocked and I would put inconsequential items in here like hand sanitizer, wipes, sunglasses or whatever. It is a large open pocket lined in dark blue rather than the usual light grey.The strap is as usual rough and not very flexible due to the slashproof properties. It is adjustable.The material of the bag is not smooth cotton, but somewhat rough due to its water resistant (waterproof?) nature.Pros for this bag: Inexpensive compared to the others, and somewhat more capacious with wide pockets that are easier to access. All the pockets are locking.Cons: That fiddly back pocket lock. Other reviews mention the blue colour is not colour safe which gives me pause, but I have no evidence of that myself.

Bought for an international trip, I love the extra security of being able to lock the zippers, purse feels very sturdy and strong. It's plenty large enough to carry all the things I need for a day exploring! Lastly, it's simple, cute and won't clash with outfits or stand out!

I love these bags. I have the larger bag, but this one is perfect for travel. I keep my passport and travel documents in one pocket, and the other pockets are roomy enough for wallet, lipstick, tissues, keys, phone, glasses, etc. I love that the small size can be over your shoulder and hung in front of your body to make grabbing it from a robber impossible. Also love that the metal throughout the strap prevents any knife slashing of the strap. It hardly weighs anything and it is just a great travel bag. So happy i purchased!

This purse is a great size and style for travelling. I was able to put everything in it that I wanted and there was still lots of space, and it was nice and light to carry. The clips for keeping the various sections/zippers closed worked great and were easy to close and open when I needed them (but not so easy that someone else could open them without me noticing). I used it in March for a trip to the US, and plan to take it to Italy and Greece in the fall. I'm very happy with it.

Used this bag whilst in Spain in an area that has seen a huge increase in pick pockets & bag theft.Felt much more confident that my valuables would be safe especially in congested areas. Good size & excellent quality,looks great too. Will buy again.

Bought this bag to use when I travel abroad. Although I have gone “minimalist” for my everyday bag and only carry my small purse, glasses and mobile ‘phone, l need something a little larger to carry my I-pad mini and Kindle when I’m travelling. This bag is perfect for that and has the additional security features with zips that lock into place. Delighted with my purchase.
