Great, small general-purpose scissors
These are really good and sharp, although the original ones made in Finland were better. I now have three sets of these; one on my electronics workbench, one in the bathroom, and one which my wife kept "borrowing" from the bathroom cabinet and never returning. So I got another set and let her keep the one she hid away in her office. While these are no longer made in Finland they're still overall really nice. My original set is going on 40 years perhaps, and the second set (China?) maybe 15.

Sewing scissors work great for personal grooming
This is the fourth pair of sewing scissors I have bought from this company. They are handy for mending, but we bought them for trimming eyebrows, nose hair and other personal grooming needs. I use the pair at my desk to trim split ends that I see. I use the kitchen pair to trim eyebrow hair on my husband as he's heading out the door, if I notice one standing up. They are very convenient. They're the right size and very sharp. They're cheaper, and work better than the scissors from the beauty industry. Everyone in the house knows if I catch you using them on paper, or plastic, you'll be in trouble though!!!!

Love it! Finland or not!
Fiskars Stitcher Scissors (No. 5)Mainly writing a review and posting pictures to ease people's minds of whether they're made in Finland or not. The first two photos are how they came and I took closeups of the scissors. The blade has "Fiskars Stainless Finland" printed on it and the handle has "Fiskars Finland" on it. Not sure if what's printed on the scissors is convincing for everyone, but that's all I can say. There were a pair of these laying around my boyfriend's home and I used them to trim my dog's fur around her feet. Granted, they were not made for that purpose, but that's what I ended up using them for. That pair had "Fiskars Stainless" on the blade and "Fiskars 91 USA" on the handle. The handle broke and I was super sad because they were a nice pair of scissors (very precise and sharp). Came onto Amazon and got this pair and JUST used it. They are even more precise and sharper--not sure if it's the Finland factor or just the fact that they were brand new.Regardless if they're made in Finland or not, very happy with my purchase. I know it seems ridiculous to pay $12.00 for a pair of scissors, but I think they're worth the price tag.

Great little Scissors
I have ever been disappointed with Fiskar scissors. This small size is perfect for use in my office and for removing small bits of matted fur from the cat.

Best Scissors
These little scissors are fantastic for cutting thread. They're comfortable to use (i.e. not too small) and super sharp. The blades fit together well and come well oiled. I wish they came with a case given that they're a bit pointy, but that's a small complaint.I wish I had bought them sooner. They're clearly very high quality, although you may have to hide them from family members as a result.

Great for intricate work
I purchased these scissors for cutting out wool felt for applique, and I am very pleased with the quality. They allow me to cut out small, intricate pieces easily. They are comfortable to use. I own several different types of Fiskars's scissors and rotary cutters and have always been pleased with my purchases.
