A really great and convenient gadget!
For those in a hurry, here's the gist: It works great and is really convenient to use. Just put your camera gear in a relatively air tight box, put this inside it, and then no worries for a long time(do check the humidity levels though to make sure the silica gel has not got saturated). Once the indicator on the device turns pink, recharge it again(takes a few hours). This helped me save my camera lenses from fungus. Although I think the price is a bit high, it is a great investment for the tens of thousands of rupees of camera gear I own. Here is the full story of why I bought it(if you are interested):It was monsoon in Kolkata and (for the first time) I faced a photographer's worst nightmare: Fungus on Lenses. Yeah. Thankfully, it wasn't too bad and I was able to clean the fungus easily. However, this is when I started looking for ways to prevent this from happening again.I had 2 options basically: buy an actual camera dry cabinet( costs a lot an I have no space to keep it in my tiny apartment), or make a "jugaad". I obviously chose the second one.I bought a big 14 L storade box from Amazon, and then I first bought about 500g of silica gel. It worked well....for about a week. Then the humidity started rising again. That is when I started looking for something that would not run out. It is when I found this. It was a bit expensive, but I still decided to try it out.The main thing I like about this dehumidifier is that it is easy to 'recharge' (a.k.a. dry). Just connect the included plug to a wall outlet and let it heat up for a few hours(the plug is not standard Indian one(see pic). So it can be a hastle. I would advise going to your local electric shop and buying a similar Indian wire. This kind of wire is commonly used to recharge emergency lights). And a nice thing is that there is a kind of indicator that turns red from blue when the silica gel has saturated. After using this, I could regulate the humidity rate to below 40 percent (sometimes below 30)(see pic), even when my room humidity was over 85. And do note that the box I am using is not air-sealed. I don't know how long it stays functional in such a closed space, however I haven't noticed any change in the indicator in the 1 week I have been using it for.Overall this is a really great product. Compared to other solution such as a dry cabinet, it is much cheaper. The total cost of this solution (large box + this dehumidifier + small humidity sensor) was about Rs 2200. Hence, I really recommend this dehumidifier for all people who have camera gear.If you find this review helpful, hit the Helpful button below. Thank You. (•‿•)

Very good product offering compact and light!
I have been using the same in my camera bag for last 2 months now since Monsoon during my travel. This is absolutely a great product to own and especially when you are traveling in Humid zones. It's good make and helps in maintaining the humidity level in the bag. Will highly recommend for photographers who travel frequently especially in Humid areas for photography. Has turned out pretty well and I highly recommend the same.

Very effective
I use this in one of my dry cabinets that has ceased to work. The cabinet maintains humidity of under 45 when I place this in for about 4 weeks & I recharge them when they creep higher.

Takes as much time to charge as it lasts
The dehumidifier goes from Dark blue to pink in a matter of hours (in Mumbai rains). It takes about as much time to charge it as it lasts.

Too good
It took 2 hours to get activated and after that I am getting 17 to 25% humidity in my dry box and now it is more than 15 days with one charge only. I recharged it after 45 days.

NOT MEANT FOR WARDROBES AND BIGGER AREA
The description is misleading and Amazon is not giving option to return but only replace. The crystal changes colour within two days of placing in my cupboard and needs to recharged frequently. Highly disappointed. Looking at other reviews it seems like it's suitable for keeping equipments dry in a small airtight box but that's not what I bought this for and also the product description mentioned wardrobes too.

Does the job perfectly!
This dehumidifier is a lifesaver. I use it to store my camera and lens in an airtight plastic box. It works very fine. I liked that the seller has taken effort to include an instruction sheet in simple english. This will be very helpful to people who are using such a product for first time. I am thinking of buying more to keep in my wardrobe and shoe rack to avoid damp and fungus. From the weight of the product it seems that there is a lot of silica gel filled inside. Good for absorbing lot of moisture. The indicator turns from blue to pink once it's saturated. I was worried that the plug will not be suitable for Indian sockets. However it's 2 pin plug suitable for Indian sockets. So I don't need to use any adapter to plug it in for recharging. Overall a worthy purchase of you want to prevent damp or fungus from damaging your camera, lenses, leather objects etc. I am deducting one star as I feel that the price is little high.

Nice product and must for camera users
I really like the charging based desiccant concept. It's built in heater recharge the desiccants and can be kept in air tight container to protect camera or electronic device being damaged due to molds and fungus.
