Humble Bee420 Aero Beekeeping Suit with Round Veil

My husband loves this bee suit. It’s cool in our Texas summers and easy to put on. So far it’s kept out any curious buzzer. Worn one season so far.UPDATE: Loved the suit so much that I bought one for me also. Unfortunately, I had a hard time finding one that fit. The folks at HumbleBee were wonderful, allowing me to try on and exchange suits with no hassle at all. Return postage was even provided! All I had to do was repackage the unused suit, print out a label that they provided, and carry it to the UPS store. No fuss no muss and the folks at Humble Bee were very helpful and friendly.My husband's gloves are worn out (not from HumbleBee) and so our next purchase will be made with confidence at HumbleBee.

Very comfortable suit to work in. I used it on a second floor extraction of honey bees the first day. The second day I snagged it on the ladder and sliced the mesh. Completely my fault but it ripped rather easy. I think I will be able to sew the rip together by hand. The zipper is thick and seals great. I have noticed putting the veil back on is not easy as the zipper is stiff. That being said the zipper should work in. Great suit to use and comfortable. Sizing: I am 6 foot and 240 pounds and this fits about perfect.

TO THE COMPANY PLEASE MAKE SIZES 4X 5X 6X SO A MEDIUM TO LARGE PERSON CAN GET A SUIT TO FIT COMFORTABLY LOOSE. I ordered size xxx[3x with Round Veil] because I wanted loose oversized suit. but at 5 foot 7 inches and larger muscular body type I barely fit the triple x. a six foot person would not be able to wear suit unless very thin body and suit skin tight.. I do enjoy the fabric protection from bee stings, now only my lamb skin gloves let a rare stinger reach me. the veil is close to the face so make sure you have it pulled out and away from face. I am not bothered by the closeness I can see better into hive. but I do understand how some people might be uncomfortable by having the honey bees only an inch from nose. I GAVE A 3 [50/50] REVIEW fix the sizes and I would give a 5 star.

I love this suit! It works so much better than my last, more conventional suit and hood. After a bee crawled up under my old hood (the kind with the string that you tie around your waste) and stung me on the neck, I decided to get a suit that zips closed so bees cannot get in. This suit does just that. Now I have no worries about bees getting in. The fabric is comfortable and breathable and the hood does not fall down in front of my eyes like my old hood. This is a great bee suit! I got one for my husband and he loves it as well.

The triple layer suit seems to be sting-proof so far. However, the second time I wore the suit to transfer a Nuc, I got stung in the upper lip because the hood is too small and does not keep the net away from the wearer’s face. The sizing is also off. I recommend ordering at least one to two sizes larger than what you think you need. I bought this suit because it had good ratings on an article on a beekeeper website. For the amount of money I paid for this thing, I am extremely disappointed with its performance. Why make a good suit and skimp on the hood? Size of hood is better suited for a child’s suit. I would not recommend this product and would like to return it to get my money back.

Where has this suit been all my life?!? I absolutely LOVE it... I live in south south! Louisiana and it gets HOT here... removing wild bees takes time and my old suit was soaking wet 30 min into a job, leaving it clung to my skin and target of sting after sting... no longer! This suit is very well made and stays dry and off my skin... only found one issue and that is the hood... not wide enough of a brim to keep the screen far from your face... I recommend a ball cap or visor to be worn to help with that... otherwise it's an A+ in my book! Planning on sewing in plastic piping to stiffen up the face screen...

haven't used suit yet but looks good hopefully all the ventilation design won't allow my wild animal bees to sting me... very much appreciate the charitable donations made by this company as well

I'm a newbee and decided I should have a full suit for my first foray into this work. I researched sooooo many suits and companies and landed on this suit over the higher cost UltraBreezy. After trying it on it fits perfectly, plenty of space to move around and the vail doesn't touch my face and provides unobstructed views. Now to put it into action!

Aucune piqûre d’abeille pour l’instant. Je l’ai utilisé dans une visite au rucher qui a été mouvementé alors il a été testé suffisamment. L’aération fait clairement la différence lors d’une journée chaude, on sent l’air qui traverse l’habit lorsqu’il y a un peu de vent. On peu se mettre en short et t-shirt en dessous sans problème. Le tissus gratte un peu, mais on s’habitue vite. J’ai pris une taille médium et je mesure 5pied 3. Un taille small aurait peut-être aussi fait, mais j’aime mieux être très à l’aise. Il y a des poches pour les outils. Les fermetures éclairs sont solides et la combinaison ferme hermétiquement. Le seul bémol, le rebord du chapeau est un peu petit, il faut faire attention à ce que le nez ne se colle pas sur la moustiquaire, mais ce n’est pas très problématique.

war anfangs begeistert!Sehr stichfest und luftig.Der Zipp könnte besser sein.Der Grund warum ich nicht mehr kaufen würde ist jedoch dass netzmaterial im Sichtbereich.Jetzt nach 2 Jahren fängt dieses Drahtähnliche Material an brüchig zu werden, was bedeutet dass sich überall wo es leicht knickt kleine Löcher entstehen.Ich nähe nur ungern....

Mein Lebensgefährte ist Imker und er hat schon viele Imkeranzüge anprobiert, aber keiner ist so gut wie dieser. Dieser Imkeranzug ist sehr gut belüftet und hat eine tolle Verarbeitung. Er sitzt einwandfrei und man ist gut geschützt vor Bienenstichen.Super Produkt, wir würden es jederzeit wieder kaufen.

Kann man auch nur das Kopfteil nach kaufen ? Sehr guter Anzug passt optimal und schon sehr oft in Einsatz gewesen und noch gar keinen Stich bekommen.
