This book is an excellent training tool for seriously dating, engaged and married couples to study together. It will give a responsive review on how to effectively handle relationship issues and even joys. It's a wonderful teaching tool for bringing and building families. Great read!

Very good book. It teaches us the role women play in marriage and the role men play in marriage. Kindness and respect. It teaches us to truly understand each others love language. No one is perfect but if we focus on God and not ourselves and focus on our spouse needs and now our own, we can have a lifelong love affair. Very good read. I would definitely recommend this to married couples and engaged couples.

This book is an awesome resource for dating, marriage, single, and divorced, and for other relational skills in friendships, extended family, neighbors, work and other relationships! Probably, one of the best resources for those! All the feedback that I have heard from people have been the same and many said that they wished they had this material when they were younger and how their life would be sooooo much different had they known this info a long time ago. Get it, share it, and spread the word!!!!

I saw the author and his wife on a Christian broadcast while channel surfing and was immediately drawn into their conversation. I was glued to the television taking in every word. These are things "your mama" should have told you about love, marriage, sex and relationships built on the Word of God. This book is very detailed, very intimate and a must read for couples in trouble; couples wanting to enhance their marriage and single people wanting to be married. If this book does not equip you with the tools for marital success and bliss, then you're REALLY in trouble! There's even a study guide in the back for couples. When I say this book covers everything....it covers everything!!

We read this book as part of a small-group study in church. The group discussion and questions is what made this book so much better for me. The content and discussion were good, but without the group discussion, this would be a 3 star.

My husband stumbled across Jimmy Evans' ministry online and downloaded this book to his Nook. We had been having trouble relating to each other and connecting, and he (my husband) thought this book was awesome. I bought a hard copy for myself, and I'm finding it a really good read. Perfect for anyone who's experiencing trouble in their marriage. This is a wonderful book; it's given me hope!

The Jimmy and Karen Evans marriage support activities are also well- represented on YouTube. The book is part of a bigger frame of reference about cantering a key relationship on divine support and mutual respect. Whether or not the reader is a Christian or even their kind of Christian, there are clear and well-thought through observations on what causes stress in close relationships and how to work humility and respect back in there. A bit confessional but you get used to that. Very good read.
