Effective Product
My original review: Been using these for several years for my kitty. She's picky so I have to dice them into kibble size pieces and mix in with her dry food. Seldom has a hairball issue. March 8, 2023: New cat will not eat these, which distresses me bc I bought the 160 ct size. I've tried disguising them in her food but she manages to eat around them. If they tasted like Friskies Party Mix she would eat the whole bag, bag and all. LOL I still swear by the product, tho, since it worked great for my late cat, Queenie. They don't say so on the label, but I've heard it suggested that brewers yeast (contained in this product) is a deterrent for fleas and Queenie never had fleas despite being an outdoor cat. She also had a lovely shiny coat and no skin issues. If anyone has a suggestion as to how I can fool my new cat into eating these treats, I am open for suggestions.

Great and it works!
We have a brother/sister pair of cats who shed like it's their full time job. The girl cat is 8.5 lbs and rather petite, and the boy cat is a beefy 13 lbs. We were getting tired of encountering "fur-cigars" every morning from one or both of them, so we thought to start them on a hairball treatment. After all, it can't be comfortable horking up that junk. We tried this formula - and my goodness, the cats LOVE it. We didn't go with the short-term high-dosage direction, but rather with the maintenance dose. That means we give each of them 1 chew in the morning and one in the evening, and allowed this chew to replace some of their other treats. In the month that we've been using this product, we haven't seen a single hairball, and it doesn't seem to be affecting them negatively in other ways. They still poop well, eat well, and it doesn't seem to be giving them any GI issues. The only thing I would suggest is that if your cat is smaller / petite, or if your beefier cat decides to inhale everything like a furry hoover, you might want to break the chew up into multiple pieces. I worry that they might not chew it well enough and get it stuck in their throat. The side benefit is that they think you're giving them multiple treats! Bottom line: excellent value for the money, the furbabies love the taste, it doesn't seem to harm them, and we are furball free in our house!

Pieces are hard, but my cat eats them!
I’ve tried a few brands and my cat would not eat any of them. This brand works well in that he actually eats them, but the pieces are very hard and he has some trouble chewing them. I give them to him daily and he’s still eating them so that’s a big win for me!

Cat wont eat them, waste of money
These treats are rather large. I'd describe the texture of them as crumbly (not crunchy, but definitely not soft.) I put one down, she sniffed it, put it into her mouth, and then spit it out. Thinking they were just too big, I broke it in half, then half again (because as I said, these are rather large) and she just sniffed it and looked at me. I tried to trick her by putting down other treats she likes mixed in with the broken up pieces of hairball treats, but she's too smart for that. She picked out her other treats, and would just spit out the hairball treat if she accidentally put one of those in her mouth. Then she just tried to "cover up" the rest of the treats when she was done.... Since that didn’t work, I crushed them into a fine powder and mixed it into her wet food... she took one sniff of her food and wouldn’t touch it. No matter what I did, she wouldn’t eat these treats. I've been trying to find an alternative hairball treat to the "Purina Pro Plan Hairball Remedy Chews" since they discontinued them (she absolutely loved the taste of those and they actually managed her hairballs, she's a longhair) but I guess these aren't gonna do! I'm looking for the treat to 1. Not be a ridiculous serving amount (Like, 14 treats per day) and 2. Taste good enough for her to eat! So back to square one...

Smell and packaging changed, cat doesn't like formula change
This is all my cat would eat for hairballs. He's not interested in any gel I've ever tried. It mostly works but he still has hairballs sometimes. Plus he eats and drinks too much water sometimes and that makes him throw up also. But anyway, he always loved these treats, but the packaging changed around Dec 2022 and the new pouches smell worse and now he doesn't like them. I have also submitted an email direct to Pet Naturals about it. I'm going to have to cancel my 3 pkt per month subscription if this is a permanent change. Very disappointed. These days, it seems that changes are never improvements.

Kitties no like
I bought these to try because somewhere it said that they were soft. They are not soft. And they crumble when broken into two or three pieces to make them easier to chew. I have two cats and neither kitty will eat these, so they must not taste too good either. The only good thing was the decent price of them.

Cat loves taste - no more hairballs
I was hesitant at first because these have a strong smell and my cat didn't seem too interested. Now she loves them so much I use them to get her back into the house (no small feat!). She's also stopped coughing up hairballs all the time - another major point as she's a Turkish Van (long hair that changes with the season). Great!

These really seem to work!
These are the only Hairball "medicines" that my cat thinks are tasty, and they really seem to be helping! Instead of having a hairball every week, it's now reduced to about once a month. I feed her 1-4 pieces a day, as per the instructions, although they say you might need to feed up to 4 twice a day. Expensive in that case, but worth it.

The price of the item
The only thing I don't like is the flipping price I thought it was a bigger bat not one little package, not happy with the price. Tut
