The drawers are pretty thick, so less room inside, but amazingly, they hold a lot. And because they are sturdy, they won't come apart when a lot of items are placed in them. Pretty much all squared off and precise. In a few drawer bottoms, you could see a bit of space and where the nails are, as the drawer bottom was not completely square, but almost. Mostly all drawers were put together well, and fit well in the shelving. Smooth wood where it should be, and finished off well. I have ordered two and may want a third. You can put these skinny shelves in many little places. Not too tall, and won't fall over.

I love this little set of drawers. It’s smaller than I’d expected. I like that now that I’m used to it. Very well constructed. Solid. Great for a small fest bedroom. Would definitely buy again.

This cabinet arrived quickly and well-packaged. It is sturdy, well-balanced, and the cherry finish complements the hardwood floors and woodwork trim in my house. I like that the drawers aren't attached but can be easily and completely slid out. (This feature works well on this skinny unit, although I can see why it might not on a larger one.) Wanting to use this cabinet to store my silk scarf collection, I was pleased to find the that the inside of each drawer is nice and smooth, no need to worry about snagging. I knocked off one star from my review only because the bottom of the top drawer has several places where the wood seems to have been splintered off before it was finished. These flaws surprised me. I had always thought that Amish furniture pieces were near-perfect; guess not. An artisan should never assume that just because an area is "hidden" it won't go unnoticed.

This is an amazing mini chest of drawers. High quality. Solid wood. No assembly required. It is a bit pricey, but like most things, you get what you pay for. Well worth the money in my opinion. Yes, it is small, so check the dimensions for you needs. I have it in my bathroom to hold various small items such as hair/beard clippers, trimmers, razors, and various other items normally kept in a medicine cabinet (since I don't have one of those). It does smell a bit like freshly-finished wood for maybe a week, but the smell eventually fades away.
