Easy to apply. Not very messy at all! Color is tad darker like a dark brown so if you want medium brown I would leave on less time or try a shade lighter first. But good product

Follow Instructions!
I got this at my local beauty supply store. It was $3.99 a bottle. I have locs and I bought 4 bottles. I got the color dark brown. You must wash your hair and I recommend using a clarifying shampoo! Make sure your hair is CLEAN! This process lifts the cuticles for better color absorption. Sulfate free shampoo is not going to help. Don’t condition. Towel dry hair and apply the color with gloves. Starting from the ends. Leave on for 25 minutes. Those with grey hair need their hair covered for it to process. This is all in the instructions. Then rinse in cool water. Not lukewarm water, cool. You should not see a TONNNN of color rinsing out. Then condition, don’t shampoo at all. The photo is what my locs looked like before I colored them. Ignore my beer lol. The video is right after rinsing out the color and conditioning my hair.

I liked the color and it made my hair shiny and soft,however,it only covered about 30-40% of my gray. I liked that it had no red in it and I think it will be great to use again for toning down brassy hair and to give my hair shine and softness over my permanent hair color.
