I had been a long-time (probably 15 years) user of Glide floss, up until very recently when Glide changed their floss design to become horrendous. I started looking for a Glide replacement, namely something that would fit between my tighter tooth gaps. I also had a secondary goal of trying to find floss that might have less plastic in it.I tried some silk flosses, but those were all a bit too thick and required more work to get in between my teeth, plus they were more like thread, which made them a bit more "sharp" than Glide.Then I tried Dr. Tung's floss, and I was sold right away. It fits between my teeth almost as well as the original Glide style, but it easily cleans *twice* as well as Glide ever did! This came as a noteworthy surprise that Glide floss had been inferior for cleaning for all these years. Dr. Tung's looks somewhat wide/thick, but it flattens when pulled tight against a tooth surface, which makes it slide in between tooth gaps easier. It's also more like a loose-fiber weave, so it does not have sharp "edges" like the silk floss that is singular string-like. This gives it a wider cleaning surface, hence the superior cleaning.In conclusion, I was concerned that the change in Glide would lead me to have to compromise, but now I realize it was a blessing in disguise that led me to find a superior floss.

Yes, my parents taught me to floss. My dentist, when I was a kid, was annoyed when I came in to have my teeth cleaned right after eating sugar babies. As an adult, now I get this. My answer at the time, quit going to that particular dentist.Fast forward a few decades, today my teeth are more important to me than ever! Yes, now I dental floss twice most days. However, this product is a game changer! More expensive but it actually is worth it. Never told my dentist or his hygienist that I changed my floss and have been receiving fabulous reports on how well I am cleaning my teeth and no blood when flossing them prior to cleaning. It's our secret! Who knew such a quality product meant so much!

AWESOME !! Best floss I've ever used. Love the packaging and it's so easy to cut off the length you want with the built in tool on the package. So convenient. And, Dr. Tungs floss has 'no' PTFE nor PFAS. This is a clean product and I like it much better than Oral B (which the string often breaks inside and then you have to roll the string out by hand - too much work and waste - and Oral B has the bad chemicals PTFE and PFAS that you are lacing into your gums). Ugh. I will be buying Dr. Tungs floss from now on.

i have been using this floss for years. I love that it is strong and NOT slick. I feel like it does a better job pulling out food caught under my bridge and getting between the teeth that bushes can't reach than other brands of floss because it isn't "easy glide". BONUS!!! they have redesigned the dispenser to being more environmentally friendly. It is no longer made of plastic. Rather a folded light cardboard.

Turns out I have more than normal levels of PFAS/PFOS in my blood so I've been try to replace all the likely exposure items in my life. Turns out Glide floss is a high exposure item, but it's the only floss that has ever fit between my tight teeth. After reading a few reviews of this item I gave it a try and was pleasantly surprised at how well it works. It kind of "stretches" to fit in between the teeth, but it's actually way stronger than the Glide stuff ever was. And there's no fake flavoring or other unnecessary stuff.So hopefully using this as a good floss replacement will help reduce my PFAS exposures, but I just wish we didn't have a to pay a premium for items that WON'T slowly poison us.

This is my favorite floss! It does such a great job of getting stuff out of teeth. I won’t go to another brand after using this brand. I do like the old packaging with the plastic container. Luckily I saved the old containers and reuse them by putting the new spool of floss in them. I don’t like the paper packaging. I know it is probably better for the environment but I just prefer the plastic one they used to have. Maybe in the future they will just sell refills for the original packaging.

Best I've found! I previously used Glide floss but wanted to get away from the chemicals, so I tried Cocofloss but wasn't impressed. My dentist recommended this Dr. Tung's Smart Floss and I really like it. I have some tight teeth and many types of floss will easily shred on my teeth. This Dr. Tung's does not shred too much, and times when it does slightly tear it doesn't shred in a way of ripping or getting stuck in teeth. It also has an ingenious way of expanding when not pulled tight, so it can do great cleaning between teeth. Highly recommend giving it a try. And great minimal packaging that actually offers the easiest and most effective dispensing of a floss. Easy, Effective, Earth-friendly.

Really good floss—easy to use and gentle on the gums, but still cleans well. It doesn’t seem to expand as described, but it works efficiently. The flavor was a little unexpected at first but grew on me. I initially thought the floss came in different colors due to the packaging, but it's just standard white.
