speaker for a classroom
This item served its purpose. We had a retirement party and there were about 33 people there. Some people talk softly and cannot be heard, especially when there's a group or crowd. The microphone worked great!.

A Mixed Bag
Where should I begin? It took me some time and energy to figure out how this should work, and I still do not know how to adjust the volume. It's a mystery to me. Hey-- I'll admit to being a moron but I cannot see any kind of volume control at all.In fact, I can't see any kind of controls that I would expect to see. But I do hear, loud and clear, a voice tell me that it's "waiting for Bluetooth." What?? What is that about?? Why does this thing want to connect to something via Bluetooth???? Honestly, I can't figure it out. WHAT is it supposed to connect to? A computer? What?Lack of documentation really hurts this. They need to hire some native speakers to write their manuals and they need to put some effort into finding out what real customers might want to do with the product. I really think this deserves two and half stars, but I'll round it up this time. It does amplify your voice, I'll give it that.

Bluetooth amplifier is great for outdoor party functions and karaoke.
I recently attended a Mother's Day function where I DJ the music but had no microphone to announce the different Mother and the events. This amplifier was loud enough for a crowd of about sixty people and easily connected to my phonee number is

Simple to use, decent sound
Simple to use, decent sound:This voice amplifier is a pretty effective way to boost the volume of your voice without having to carry around a handheld mic. Setting up the device is very simple - just plug the headset aux cord into the small speaker, turn it on and you're pretty much ready to start using it. The sound quality from the speaker is pretty good but you do have to keep the mic very close to your mouth for the volume to feel at the proper level. The headset is light and flexible though so it's not difficult to adjust to where you need it to be. The speaker is also light enough to wear around your neck with the provided strap for a decent amount of time without feeling fatigued or sore from wearing. And since the whole set is very small and portable, this product is ideal for classrooms or other open, outdoor, or otherwise low tech areas where plugging into an external speaker with a fully wireless headset is not practical.Overall, this is a pretty good product and I would recommend.

Decent classroom amp
This SHIDU amp works as advertised using the provided headset (I tried a different headset and it didn't work). It picks up your voice and if you crank up the volume it's quite loud. It should be perfectly suitable for use in the classroom, boardroom, or other small venues.Bluetooth connection was simple but has a fair amount of background hiss on music playback, making it unsuitable as a music speaker, in my opinion. The unit claims to be waterproof, but I didn't drop it in a swimming pool to test.

Easy to use (read the instructions), great sound
This amplifier is nicer than some in that the sound is a bit more bottom-heavy and less tinny sounding than some, without adding too much weight to get there. There is no feedback, even when the mic is fairly close to the amp.The volume controls are not intuitive but are easy to use -- the reverse (lower volume) and forward (increase volume) buttons act as volume controls. You also have to hold down a button for three seconds to turn the unit on and off.Once you learn the controls, the unit is pretty easy to use, though you might have to look at the amp to do it. A rolling dial is definitely easier to use, but this isn't bad. Just different. Pretty happy with it.

Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. I’ve been emailing for months because mine broke. I have gotten no response. Very disappointing for an expensive item. When it worked it was very difficult to push the on/off button.
