easily adjusted to work for a 'girl' version too
My 11 yr old daughter wanted to be a 'dark Mad Hatter" but all the costumes sold for girls were either too frilly and pretty or too sexy. We bought her this and instead of pants, she wore a plain black crinoline skirt and black and white jester style tights. I just put one big stitch in the back of the jacket to cinch the waist more a more feminine fit. It came out super cute.
