We had some sort of bug (beetle?) eating our deck plants in S Texas. Our deck is 30’ in the air and there’s no wood or easy way for most things to climb up (lizards, grasshoppers, etc).I purchased this bright red bird and attached it to the railing. The leaf eater seems to have disappeared since then.The definition and quality is below average but it’s stayed in place well and made it through a rain storm so I can’t complain. Certainly about 1/4 the size of a real cardinals

It was a bit smaller than expected, but overall very cute. Vibrant red colour. I bought this fake bird to place in my transom, above my front door, to stop real birds from trying to nest there. It worked beautifully! Although sheltered, this little fake bird is outside in the elements and it seems to be holding up very well.If you were buying it for decoration purposes, it is very cute/sweet.

It's a nice small cardinal and it looks well made. There is a wire at the feet to attach it to something. It's light weight, but feels nice and solid.
