Lighting This has a bright and wide flood light, not a spot light. The light is great for construction, painting, carpentry, plumbing. Sometimes I don't realize how dark the areas I'm working on are until I shut it off. It has High, Low, Red and Red blinking that cycle through the same button. Sometimes the person I'm working near uses my same light because their headlight is washed out by this one. The button is placed in a way that it hasn't gotten accidentally turned on in my tool bag like most of my other headlights. The front tilts and clicks in place at different angles. The lamp is high enough and has a rubber edge so I don't get glare from the light on the top of my glasses. Batteries The rechargeable batteries it comes with are high quality. I think I can work 3-4 hours on the highest setting before it quits. The batteries charge slow (like overnight) if you leave them in the unit and just charge by plugging in the usb. I bought a backup pair of batteries and a charger which goes faster, but the backup batteries don't last as long as the original batteries that came in the lamp. Comfort It's a little heavy compared to other headlight but that's a trade-off for having two 18650 batteries. It is balanced with the batteries being opposite the lamp. It could use a little more padding in the front because you have to tighten it to keep it from falling off when you have to look upside down and sideways a lot (like working on a car and some plumbing). I usually wear it over a backwards baseball cap. Durability The clips are plastic but are holding up so far. Mine has fallen a few times from different height and I've banged it on things and so far it's fine.

These are noticeably brighter than my Petzl, but battery only last on high for 3-4 hours. Bought these for caving, and they work very well for that, but you will need atleast 2 of these, extra batteries, plus a battery powered backup. For what they are, these are absolutely fantastic, and conpete even with the top caving brands for brightness. Lights up the caves very well.

It you need to light up a 30 foot area really brightly for hours at a time, this is a good choice. It's the floodiest flood light I own. All flood no throw. It's definitely not 2000 lumens, and you aren't going to have 10 hours of usable light, but it's really not a bad light. I have two of them. I turned one on and left it for 4 hours. When I came back it was still running, but only as bright as the "low" setting on the other one with fresh batteries. The red light works well, but is actually a bit too bright for trying to preserve night vision. We use it for cave exploration, in addition to a handheld light. The headlight dies a good job lighting up the area you are walking but not much more than that. Can't comment on durability yet as we have only used them twice.

This headlamp was never very bright and went through the battery pretty quickly. On the third time trying to recharge it the charging port pushed into the unit making it unusable. It is a huge waste of money and I would never recommend buying it.

This light is very well made. Its very bright and lights up the complete area around the user. The battery life is surprisingly good and the charging is rather quick.

Very bright & I mean very bright. Fits well . The battery lasts much longer in warm weather. I use it at night to close up my chicken coops and it works great when it's warm but when it's cold it needs a full charge otherwise it will sometime just cut out. I would still recommend it though as the light it throws is great. Also very durable, I've dropped it many times and it still works great.
