Epson552 EcoTank Ink Ultra-high Capacity Bottle Five Color Combo Pack (T552920-S) Works with EcoTank Photo ET-8500, ET-8550

It’s so nice to “feed” my Epson ET-8550 printer with this relatively inexpensive ink, knowing it will print for a LONG time before the colors need refilled. The ink is great, and prints very nicely on high quality paper, though colors are slightly muted when using standard copy paper.Eco-tank printers are definitely the way to go, and Epson’s price for this ink is very reasonable and much cheaper than non-eco-tank printers.I prefer OEM to knock-off ink, and the knock-offs are not very much less expensive than this OEM ink like it is with non-eco-tank printers. Highly recommend this item, and Evo-tank printers in general.

These are the best quality for the epson printer, easy to use. Colors print amazing. I can print a lot of color images so the print capacity is great. Very functional to use.

I only use REAL Epson ink with my very expensive Epson printer. And I can always rely on Epson products from Amazon. I actually sell poster size 13x19 prints in my shop, so I also buy real Epson photo papers, and combined, my print quality is excellent and I feel confident when selling my images, I know they will last. And you can't beat how easy it is to add ink to my printer now. No more messing around with syringes to fill my ink cartridges. I will continue to use this brand, that I have replied on for years now.

Use this genuine ink. I print my 8.5x11 pics of wildlife and portraits. Excellent prints no issues.I have tried third party ink with my canon pixma PRO-100 eariler. Had a bad experience.

With the Ecotank line up of printers (I have the ET-8550) Epson has abandoned the “razor blade” model and makes its profit upfront on the printer. Since an ink charge typically lasts a year or longer (I sometimes have to buy an extra “Photo Gray” bottle) ink cost is no longer an issue: nor would I take a chance with third party ink. I was a former photography teacher for 35 years and between digitized film images and digital photos I have over 70,000 images in my photo library, so I print a lot! I also print on a wide range of media, including (recently) paper cut from large commercial rolls of dry lab photo paper or coated canvas that I’ve found at a local retail surplus re-seller at incredibly low prices. This includes HP, Fuji, Pakor and Epson products (Epson Exhibition Canvas) that are not recommended for this printer or ink but work fine. The rear feeder on the printer also allows the use of very thick media (the exhibition canvas is 420 g/m2 or gsm (grams per square meter, a higher number is thicker, plain paper is around 20 g/m2). Of course these media products perform best with their recommended inks and printers, but the point is they also work just fine on my printer with this ink.

Elegantly simple to install the ink and great capacity! Best way to buy the ink, I feel. The jars can be used partially and then used again with no trouble.

This ink works perfectly with my Epson printer and has been a reliable workhorse for my small business. I go through a lot of color with all the stickers and buttons I make, and these bottles last way longer than I expected. Easy to use, mess free refills, and I’ve never had any issues with leaks or drips.My only gripe is that this set includes Photo Black but not Regular Black and my printer uses both. So I had to order that one separately, which felt like a bit of a gotcha. Still, the quality and value are solid, and I’ll definitely keep coming back for more.

Never had problems with this ink. Just print once weekly to keep head clean.
