Perfect!
I should have gone with Angelus vachetta leather paint from the start! The word paint totally throw me off at first so I went with 4 other products, from leather coloring balm to Torrago leather dye, and failed to achieve desirable results. I was at my wit’s end when I decided to give Angelus vachetta leather paint a try. And OMG the color went on smooth, dried quickly between coats with no tacky residue! 3 to 4 coats gave great coverage and I finished the project within few hours! The leather retained its flexibility, feels good to touch (just like leather no plasticy feel). The color is the closest match to the original leather trim color of my vintage Celine Boston bag (the 2nd pic you can see the top left photo which was the original color and the bottom right is Angelus Vachetta leather paint color. All other colors in between were the other versions/products I tried). There is a slight satin sheen to the finish, not flat and not shinny, quite natural so I am thinking to leave it as is without putting a top coat. If you want an exact match to LV’s vachetta color it’s close enough, although not exact this is the best you can get in my opinion. I included few pictures so you can see how the project turned out. The 3rd pic was taken during stripping off the latest failed version/product, you can also see the dark brown bare leather color. The last photo is of the bag in its original color/state and my finished Angelus vachetta leather paint version. What a difference a good product makes!!

Spot on
Used this to touch up a designer handbag & 3 years later, still looks perfect. No cracking or peeling. No smell. Dries fast.

Worked Perfectly!
I was looking for a leather paint to match the original vachetta leather on a Louis Vuitton purse. I wanted to restore a vintage LV bag to make it look new again. The vachetta leather on LV's tend to turn from a beautiful light patina to a reddish patina over time and I wanted it to look new again. The paint color I purchased "Vachetta" is the perfect color, turning an old LV into what looks now close to brand-new leather. If you are looking to paint your leather on your vintage LV, this is the paint used by many cobblers! It truly works.

Great color match!
I really like this product for doing my own handbag and leather touch up on cracks. Was not sticky and it dried pretty fast. Easy to use. I recommend choosing this product.

Magical LV restoration!
Unbelievably FANTASTIC product!!! I am actually annoyed that I bought a new LV now. I figured I had nothing to lose by trying this leather paint because my old LV looked so bad. Wish I had waited before purchasing another. The leather looks brand new and somehow managed not to look painted at all! It is still a soft leather feel. Truly like magic and so easy to apply (though i would recommend the Angelus paint brushes) for this kind of project.

RESTORED MY LOUIS VUITTON ALMA BEAUTIFULLY!!!
Did an amazing restoration!!! I cleaned with wipes first, used conditioner on all over the leather, taped the bag with scotch tape to protect the monogram and then began painting the bag. I used only two coats of Paint and topped it off with matte angelus finisher! I am AMAZED at the results!! It fixed all the water marks, stains and was way cheaper than paying $700 to replace the leather at LV. Definitely recommend!!! The paint was minimally sheer at first but even with one coat it looked amazing! Very easy use and easily removable if you mistakenly make a mess on the monogram or the hardware.

Just my opinion… :) and experience :(
This was a BAD idea lol! This Vachetta is a little too orange in my opinion. Worse than the color is the obvious horrible attempt at applying leather paint to my Tory Burch sandals. 😭 Yep, I want to cry. 😂 Forrreal. The beige is more like “khaki”, so if only there was a color somewhere in between these two with a little more “tan” or brown hue to it. Oh well. Now we know :)
