I am very glad I found this book and it is exactly what I was looking for! The questions are very standard and has adequate level of difficulty. This is a very good practice for pre-algebra. My son finds it easier to work from a book rather than random worksheets from the internet. I am yet to compare this to the actual 8th grade core curriculum. Thought it is a little too difficult. Answer explanations are very brief.

Bought this for our 8th grader. It is an Excellent Common Core & Pre Algebra practice book. Several word problems and free response questions. I can guarantee that this will be an excellent help for test preparation!

This book is a great supplement. Haven’t used it yet but will in the fall. Great for extra problems that look similar to what students will encounter on the End of Year test.
