Good quality seamless paper
The product provides me with what I was looking for--i.e., a black wrinkle-free background. Paper is thick and durable. It will last many uses, depending on how you store it.A caveat: There will be a very slight amount of glare with this paper depending on how you position your lighting, but that's with all paper.Be sure to store your roll vertically when not in use.As far as the background stand:A muslin on a background stand is more or less a curtain on a stand, if you ask me. So, I approahed it that way to avoid paying for an expensive background stand, which I would prefer to be sturdy, which would, in turn, require me to invest more and use a product likely equpped with a wide stance, which, in turn, would present problems for me because I'm a student doing photography in a one-bedroom apartment.Plus, all the backgrounds in my price range seem to have crossbars which flex/dip slightly in the middle. That may effect the layout of the paper. There are sturdy adjustable background holder crossbars, such as the Manfrotto 2983 Adjustable Background Holder Crossbar (108"). But you pay for that quality, plus you would need to buy adjustable light stands. Here's what I did: Go to Home Depot and buy a Style Selections Wood Pole Set with Ball Finials for $10 (product #042388). It comes with a 6 foot pole and mounting brackets--all made of solid wood pleasing to the eye.All you'll need is a drill, a screwdriver, a level, a ladder (maybe), and a pencil. I rented my drill from Home Depot for four hours for $12 after tax. All-in-all, I payed under $25 for a sturdy, unconcumbersome background stand.

Great near-black backdrop
I've used this a few times now since I got it, and I'm very happy with the quality and ease of use. Let me start by saying; paper background is so much easier than canvas/cloth backgrounds. No wrinkles to worry about, nice bend when doing full body shots, don't have to worry about debris (hair, dust, lint), easy to roll and unroll. If I had to do it over, I would have gone with the white one and still am going to buy it. That was my choice though, nothing against the product. If you are like me, and deciding between white and black....go white. I find most people like it better, easier to remove the background in post, doesn't eat light like black, and just cut the light on the background and you can achieve gray/black anyway. So unless you need black for a specific reason, white would be more practical for most people.

The best
This brand is the best for seamless photography paper. I tried to cheap out and order from a competitor before this purchase. Never again! The competitor's paper was half the thickness. So cheap and also far less paper on the roll. I'll buy from this company for all my future purchases.

Good Quality
This seamless black photo background paper is a good quality product. I'm using it for a backdrop for photographic project I'm working on. I'm not a professional photographer so I don't have experience with a lot of other similar products but this paper is good quality and works perfectly for my needs. It came in a solid tube which provided excellent protection for shipping. UPS lost the package for a few days so it arrived late but that was not the seller's fault. Amazon was very helpful. I highly recommend this paper.

Love it
I'm a professional photographer and I love this paper. of course because it's paper you do have to throw it away after a bit of use but it looks good in pictures!

Could be more black, check the edges out fo the box
Okay mine had minor wrinkles along the edge. Plus, I think it could be even more black. So 1/2 star off for the wrinkle edges and 1/2 star off for my perception of true black.I guess this is the most black of any paper I could find so I sent my 53" roll back and ordered the 107" roll. If the edges are bad then it will not matter much. The 53" roll is just not wide enough anyhow, especially if the edges are bad like the roll I received. If you are going back and forth just go 107" if you have room. The 53" roll limited the pics of my kids quite a bit, even if the edges were perfect. I missed out on so many other poses I could have done. With only 3 of the 7 kids kids next to each other the 53" cut it so close. Even being very careful I had way to much post processing for cropping etc, I could not back up, they couldn't really pose or an elbow etc would run off the 53".I am changing everything over to 107". I am a beginner and if any beginner asked me now I would say go 107", it opens up so many more things.
