Only lets water go one direction, so it does what it should.

These are very good quality. Have not had any problems. Installed in a Dental Vacuum System over a year ago and no problems since.

This plumbing product is good, but Amazon’s packing it with an unpadded plastic container of spices was not good. The container broke and spices filled the packing bag.
