Why did I not know this tool existed? Works great for drafting and plotting survey angles!This one is a little sticky but for my purposes it works great.

I got this because I needed it for drafting class and the local Staples has a horrible selection. I normally don't buy things without reviews but I was stuck between a rock and a hard place and HAD to have an adjustable triangle.To start, the 0-90 degrees is total BS. It's only 0-90 if you consider the 0 AS the 90 at the same time. It's in actuality 45-90.The nut/screw that connects the two side is garbage. You literally have to re tighten it after EVERY adjustment. After moving it just 2-3 time it will fall apart.The corner with the nut/screw also has a gap that makes it impossible to measure out 90 degree. so at no point will the adjustable corner ever be connected... Which can be an issue in some circumstances.The little holes that measure out the 1/4" markings is a great idea, but you would need a very small pencil to be able to use it... Most places don't sell lead that thin.On the other hand, the plastic feels like it will hold up pretty well, so I don't see it snapping or anything like that... I'm pretty sure I'll lose one of the two pieces before it actually breaks.And the 4 circle templates will be easier to use then the actual circle templates I already have. The thick plastic is nice for that.

It got a slight crack really fast. And to make matters worse it’s on the straight edge I use the most. I am in a architecture class and rely on it heavily. It still works as an adjustable triangle on its longest edge, I’m just disappointed on its durability against my pencil.

only needs a washer under the adjusting nut to get five stars.

This arrived with no directions. We were expecting to use it for more than a 90 degree angle.
