This is a great starter kit for all the new soapers!

Overall pleased with this.So far I have cut my soap after around 30 hours after pouring the longest I've waited to cut was around 48 hours and the wire worked very well. The plate cutters or whatever they are called don't seem to work as well, not their fault though, the wire just works better.If you are like me and just getting into making your own soap, this is a great buy. It has everything you need to mold a loaf and cut it.

Overall a great product but not cutting the soap straight. The blade keeps turning to the side.

I bought this mainly for the soap cutter and the lid for the mold. I chose the crinkle cutter for cutting my first batch. There is a wider slot which seems to be for that particular cutter. Unfortunately, the cutter is so sharp and the wood so soft that I managed to slice pieces of wood away from the edges of the slot. The slot should be lined with steel strips or something. The soap wasn’t cut very straight at all. I think I was better off with my plastic miter box and dough scraper.As for the mold, the silicone side bent in near the top, which I thought would straighten out when filled with soap. It didn’t. So the sides of the soap weren’t as perfectly straight as they should have been.Other than the misshapen soap loaf and the bad cutting, the soap gelled nicely. I like the lidded silicone lined wood molds for that.

I like this soap cutter. It comes with three different tools to cut soap. It also comes with two small soap molds and one large one with a lid.

Great purchase! Everything needed to start making soap! (minus the ingredients of course) If you are just starting out and want to give soap making a try, then buy this!
