Automatic Door Closer Adjustable Safety Spring Door Closers for Home

This product does exactly what it says. It was easy to install. It works perfectly. If you have a very heavy door, it may not slam and close the lock but on normal internal basement or bedroom doors it’s perfect. I tried lots of other products and this one was simplicity itself.

Works great for light weight of hollow doors it's fairly strong for its size and the spring tension is adjustable. Works well for a simple and quick door closer.

Installs easy, works perfect for the door but did develop a squeak after two days. a little penetrating oil corrected the squeak.

I have had this door closer for about 2 to 3 weeks now. I wanted to give time for an honest opinion. I had a string closer previously they worked but got broke when the door was open to wide so I knew I needed something more sturdy. This was easy and quick to install. I have dogs that know how to open the door on their own, but don't know how to close the door so this was a must. It does have a noise but unless u are sensitive to it, it doesn't bother you. It's easy to install and works great

bought these with hopes and dreams that i could keep my doors closed. I 2 doors my employees are always leaving open. So i bought these hoping this would close the doors and i wouldn't need to waste a bunch of money keeping my garage heated/cooled. they failed in under 30 days. very disappointed in this product.

I'm so glad I found this. Every time our kids have friends over and they're upstairs, they're all walking by and looking into our bedroom and it makes me feel like I don't have any privacy when I'm in there. Even if I shut the door, my husband or kids are coming in and out and they don't close the door. We installed this door closer and it works perfect. It was simple to install and you can adjust it so that it closes the door lighter or harder. It doesn't have the squeak that others have reported in their reviews. We don't hear it at all when our door closes. I'm really glad to have this and it has greatly reduced my stress and increased my privacy. Great value for the money spent.

Yes I know you get what you paid for. However I still think there's value in pointing out it's flaws. Pro: Easy to install Easy for someone who's mechanically inclined to install. Basic, simple, and it works! Cons: The instructions are very unclear so a little thinking is required. Screws are very small and stripp out very easy. IT IS NOISY! Yes you hear the spring binding on door. Doesn't work with doors with coat racks. (Too heavy) Conclusion It's reliable, simple enough to install, and gets the job done! However it will not work on doors with some weight to it and it's very noisy!

Good it works and closes the door but be careful if you have small kids my son trapped his finger in the door within about 2 hours of me installing it...

The rare instance in which I review something, because it's genuinely awesome. Forget crappy hydraulic door closers for screen doors, or bulky overhead ones that look like they belong on a fire escape. I bought 2 of these for a 35 year old solid wooden door that's swollen and doesn't always close easily. I've only got the tension on the 2nd strength, but with 2 it closes easily and reliably. No longer do I have to leave my desk and close the door when family members don't, no longer do I worry about my dogs getting out. Super happy, would definitely buy again. Only thing left to see is how long the springs hold up to time, but for $30 if I get even a few years out of these I'm stoked.

Prodotto ben fatto. Appena montato su un cancelletto in legno esterno (molto leggero, circa 10/12kg) e devo dire che lavora veramente bene. A me é servito per evitare di lasciare quella recinzione aperta per non far scappare il cane. Si richiude abbastanza velocemente ma non così bruscamente da poter far male a bambini o animali. L’unico appunto che posso fare è che se si mettono i tappini per i buchi inutilizzati poi sono complicati da togliere senza romperli. Ma spero che duri a lungo da non dover metterci mano. La molla sembra solida. Mi riservo di aggiornare la recensione tra qualche mese anche per vedere come si comporta con gli agenti atmosferici.

Does not have the strength to fully close the light weight hollow interior door even though I had maxed out the spring force adjustment, although this was sufficient for the purpose I needed. I also installed the closer at the same level as the door handle, with the thought it will more evenly apply the closing force across the door to help it close reliably compare to mounting the closer at the top of the door. I was looking for the door closer that is mounted internally in the door jam as used with the heavier metal fire-rated door from the garage to the house, however it is more expensive and more involved to install, so this lower cost and easier to install door closer fits the need of this application.
