Marty Abrams Presents Mego Planet of The Apes: General Ursus 8" Action Figure

When I was in Kindergarten to about second grade, I was NUTS about the original POTA movies, the TV series & the Saturday Morning Cartoon series. My first memorable Christmas my parents got me the Mego POTA treehouse playset along with several action figures, which we called dolls then. I had Cornelius, Zira, & either General Urses or the Ape soldier, can’t quite remember, plus a horse. I’ve since owned the original movies in a VHS set. My son bought some of the new remakes on DVD, & they’re great, but they just don’t capture the magic of the original films. These figures, while not exact, are still pretty accurate, & definitely capture that magic. I bought all 9 available figures, but I wish they would release a Nova one. Great collectibles at decent prices!

Got what I ordered in a timely fashion

When I was a kid, Planet of the Apes was everywhere. Movies, toys, cartoons. I had all the figures, and recently sold the ones that werent destroyed. I ordered this one and put it on display. I just wish it came with some acessories like a rifle or pistol. Still a nice figure.

Came in great condition

Package was opened and in poor condition. Shipping did not cause this as the outer box was not in poor condition. Seller sold a poor product.
