I have a dog with allergies. Sadly chicken is a very over processed bird used in dog foods. Plus processed foods “ kibble” shortens a dogs life span. This is a baked kibble. A different process. I researched the Kangaroo as a novel protein and it’s ethically sourced in Australia. Ranchers have problems with them and until recently had been killing and disposing of the Kangaroo carcus as trash. Now the Government of Victoria, Australia is managing the kangaroo throughout and allows for harvesting commercially by professionalHunters who buy tags. It’s much better than wasting the Roo. The landowners call the hunters. They can’t kill the females or joeys. My dog likes the food and it’s good for her. No more scratching and terrible allergic rashes . Or smell. It’s nicely packaged and has other natural ingredients.. Thankyou Amazon for a choice!

I’ve been feeding this quality kibble to my 2 pit bull puppies along with a salmon & sweet potato kibble. They eat all the kangaroo food before touching the salmon and because of their preference I also use it for training. The smell isn’t bad, even though my hands are in it all day. Since I have 2 dogs eating it the bag(s) don’t last long. I wish they’d make a bigger size! Pits are prone to allergies and the ingredients in this food are for sensitive care. Definitely worth the money.

My Min Pin is allergic to everything, food and invironmental. He is doing very good on this food, and it's less expensive than what I was feeding him. Will continue to buy this food.

Finally, a healthy option for my dog! For some reason, American dog food has been leaving my dog's teeth in terrible condition (even with brushing, dental chews), and her coat looked ratty. Anyway, I’m a big believer in the quality of Aussie and New Zealand-made food. Since switching, my dog’s coat is back to being shiny, and her teeth are healthy again. I highly recommend this product!

I used this dog food as a topper for my dog. I feed him raw homemade dog food and use natural options to supplement the missing vitamins and minerals. My dog loved it!!! Found it interesting because it was kangaroo meat. Value was ok, smell was different, ingredients were superior! Size of bag on the smaller side. Quality is excellent!

Smells descent, I like the slightly smaller sz, my dog likes it. Price is a bit high but I imagine that's normal for kangaroo imported from NZ. Quality soons fine. Pro Reviews say 3.5 star I guess bc only 2 meat ingredients in first 9 ingredients but I think its overall ok if mixed with other dry/wet foods. I wouldn't give just this food to a dog without mixing.

This product worked great, (for us)! We spent thousands of dollars on expensive saliva tests, food supplements for a homemade diet, Vet allergist, etc. My little guy was chewing around his back tail. After examination by a Vet to determine it was not a parasite or flea infestation, we started down the food allergy road. I stumbled on this product and another one (very similar). Here is why this product worked (for us): Kangaroos are herbivores. They only eat grasses, flowers, leaves, ferns, moss and insects. If caught in the wild, Kangaroos have never been exposed to grains (which a lot of pets are allergic to) and they have never ingested animals (chickens, pork, beef, etc.) because they are herbivores, which a lot of animals are allergic to. We found, even if you purchase a "Grain Free" dog food, the animal product in the food has been fed grains. Therefore, truly not making it "Grain Free". The grain is absorbed in their flesh, which my little guy had a reaction to "Grain Free" dog food. Because the Kangaroos are "wild caught" in this dog food, they have never been exposed to "grains". The itching stopped within 2 days and he loves the taste. He's a really picky eater. There is another great Kangaroo dog food for 1/2 the cost, Zignature Wild Caught Kangaroo, but the kibble is too big for his tiny mouth. This Addiction dog food has a very small kibble size, which works great for his tiny mouth! Hope this information is beneficial, both information and financial.
