Idk what this is but it isn’t silk, feels plastic like!

I bought this robe directly from Kim+ono's online store. It was a present to myself for an upcoming vacation. I bought 3 or 4 Johnny Was silk dresses for the trip, and this "silk" robe, thinking that I would spend my vacation luxuriously feeling that silk smoothness that I love. As soon as it arrived, I was incredibly suspicious. The fabric was rough and knotty, and my cheap $8 polyester slip felt silkier than this $250 robe. This is definitely not silk, although the tag clearly says that it is. Save yourself $230 and buy a cheap satin $20 robe on Amazon. It will be the same thing, and it will definitely be more luxurious than this thing. I hate this robe. It makes me so mad because I thought it would be as gorgeous and silky as it should be. But, it is not. Anyone who wears silk on the regular will know that this is NOT silk.Buyer beware.

I’m totally bummed that this is not silk, even thought the label says it is. I have several authentic Kim and Ono kimonos and the item I received was the polyester version, NOT silk.
