Very effective, but gave him HORRIFIC gas, so I mix them with another kind
When my 11 year old Greyhound started limping and staggering when he got up from his bed, I tried these. They made an immediate difference. He started running around outside again and stopped staggering around first thing in the morning. Unfortunately, they also gave him lethal, human-asphyxiating, eye-watering gas. If any of you have Greyhounds, you know what I'm talking about. Greyhound Gas on its own is infamous, but through careful diet planning, we've managed to keep it under control. Until these miraculous limp-removal pills came along. When I ran out of these, I tried the NaturVet senior joint supplement soft chews which he loves and which help a little, but they weren't quite as effective as these. The answer was obvious--I now keep both kinds on hand, and give him 1-2 of the Osteo ones (the dosage is 3/day) and 2-3 of the NaturVet soft chews (their dosage is 4-5/day) and he is pain-free as far as I can tell, not limping, and gas-free. (As much as a Greyhound ever is anyway). It's a win-win.

Good product for the most part
Good product for the most part. My dog ate them just fine. I like all the ingredients except for the garlic & flavoring's . Cheese, bacon, and garlic are not good for dogs. I would much prefer flavors that are good for them and there's no need for garlic. Would prefer to see a product that promotes only what is good for your dog.

Doesn't work for us
I read the reviews prior to purchasing these, and they were pretty good so I assumed my dog would just eat them (like a treat). I really assumed it would something similar to the heart guard dog treat. They are a pill, and larger then I was expecting. My dog will eat just about anything, but he will not eat these at all ever. I have even crushed them and put them in wet food for him, and still refuses to eat it. They are sitting on the counter and will probably not be used. They are too big to shove down my dogs throat (he's small 25ish lbs poodle mix), and with his other pills it's just not worth the fight. I wish I wouldn't have bought these, and rather would have went to a pet store and looked around until I found something more of the treat variety.

An Awesome Product
I've reviewed similar products like this and this is the absolute best. My dog had injured her rear two legs and I feared the worst. A friend of mine who had horses recommended Glucosamine so I figured I had nothing to lose so I gave it a try. It worked? My dog's legs are just fine now and she has no problems and is healthy and active once more. If your dog has any kind of joint problems, then definitely pick this up. Even if you want to keep your dog from having problems, then still pick it up.

My dog had a hard time chewing these!
I bought these as a lower cost alternative to the higher priced Glucosamine I have been buying for my dog.I would not buy this brand again because they were too hard for my senior dog to chew. Hard as rocks! He doesn't appear to like the taste either.I'll be buying the more expensive ones the next time because in this case, you get what you pay for.

My pugs did not like the taste
its not easy for my dogs to take it. They did not like the taste, but for what I heard glucosamine is really good for joints

My dog loves it!
My dog is very picky. She won't eat many types of treats and foods. I have given away alot of treats to neighbors pets because she refuses to eat them. She loves these treats, so I give these 5 stars! I was afraid at first she wouldn't eat them, but I break it up by hand into 4 pieces and mix it in with her food twice per day. She actually looks for the treat in her bowl and goes for it first. The fact that it is good for her 9 year old arthritic bones is also a huge plus, and the main reason I bought these. I have noticed an improvement in how she gets up in the morning, by taking these pills(plus fish oil). I definitely recommend these to any pet owner who has a finicky pet or a touch of arthritis. Buy the 180 count bottle, it is the best economically. My dog is an Akita Inu....

Great deal!
This supplement is affordable and seems to be helping my plott hound, Bubba, a lot. After a week of taking, he is running around more and playing. He is developing hip pain at only 4 years old so I am pleased to find something that works for him without costing a fortune.
