They kinda pop out a bit when new. But after about one week use, they stay in place better. Easy to clean and great at catching our hair but also keeping the drain clear and flowing.

This my 4th or 5th TubShroom. the other ones just became too gross with what looks like black mould that wouldn't clean off.It's a little piece of flexible plastic is a good design that fits pretty well in my tub drain and stops a lot of hair -- greatly reducing the amount of times I have to plunge or use drain clearing chemicals.However, I paid over $20 for this latest replacement and am seeing it advertised for prices now in the $30s. To me this is too much $ for something so simple and basic.

This little gizmo works as advertised but is almost too efficient in capturing hair. If there is a lot of fine hair, the shroom will become plugged instantly. The fix is easy, just clear it with your finger and your tub will start draining again. But you may have to do it regularly, every minute or so. This is a picture after I gave my dog a haircut and bath who has quite fine hair. Coarser human hair may not have this problem
