My cat is 15 years old and doesn't respond to most toys. I have bought very expensive toys that he ignored. This is a genious product. The wire makes the toy part look like a bug that is flying. He can't see the wire and is fascinated with what is on the end. Unlike the laser toy which he can't catch, he is able to occasionally catch this which makes it more satisfying for him. For the money I can't recommend enough.

My lil Frida Catlo (she’s 9) is OBSESSED with this! She’s not really one for playing, prefers cuddling and sleeping. But she loves this. And I love watching her :)

This toy is a must have. My cats play with this everyday. They will play with each other, by themselves and with people. It is my favorite go to toy. Such a simple toy that brings so much play and laughter. Thank you, Susie

Both of my cats love this thing, even the one who doesn't really like to play, though she does lay on her back and only swats it if it's close enough. The way it moves is a bit more unpredictable than a string so it's good to add to the toy rotation. The first one I bought is falling apart, but they're cheap enough that I don't mind replacing it. I got a lot of use out of it.

I would recommend this. My cats are totally into it, I've gotten two.

My cat loves this toy!

This is such a simple thing. Basically it is a wire with rolled up pieces of cardboard on one end. But my cat, Layla, simply loves it. Layla is about 4 years old and is a grey tuxedo cat still very kittenish. We call this toy her "moths" because she acts like she is chasing moths in the air when she plays. I think this is my third cat dancer as she chases the moths until they are absolutely destroyed. Our cats have a big bucket of toys yet this is the one that really gets her moving. My other cats don't seem to want to bother with it, maybe they consider it Layla's toy but they just don't get as excited about it. Sometimes she will play with it by herself which is truly funny to watch. Most of the time, I hold one end and it will bob around by itself and she loves jumping for it.

This toy, for its simplicity is amazing! Our daughter gave us our first cat dancer toy, her 2 cats loved it but it became an issue with who got it more! She gave it to me when I got my kitten, it’s the perfect toy to play with your cat with. Don’t let the cardboard ends fool you, they are tough and long lasting! I’ve spent lots of money on many toys and this one is on the top of the list for an interactive toy for our cat. Kittens and young cats need play, this is our go to!

Cat loves it- simple is best

This is such a simple design, but the wand makes it move sort of like a bug. One of my cats likes batting at it. The other cat doesn’t like it but she dislikes all overhead wand type toys, so no surprise there. I like that there’s nothing plastic on it and it’s made in North America.

I gave it a 3 out of 5 because the cat does enjoy it, but for a wire and a tiny bit of cardboard the price is ridiculous. The value of the item would be better priced at about $5 (tops) and even that would be high for what it is, but if it was more reasonable I am sure people would by multiples. My cats has had it for 3 days now and pretty much ripped the cardboard off. So overall cat likes it.
