UPDATE
I could only tune this on 6M. not any HF Bands would tune with my Yaesu 450D, maybe a stand alone tuner would tune it. With a external tuner this dipole tuned up nicely. I have it up only 20ft and do pretty well, 30+ft would be even better. I would recommend buying this antenna.

Great antenna
I use a 20ft flag pole for this antenna. Tied the ends to tree with nylon Cord. Works great good quality craftsmanship.

GREAT Antenna!
I just got my General ticket back in March '24. With an eye toward DX, my first station is an FTDX-10 with this 40m OCFD. I wanted to get it setup and tuned, used for a bit before leaving a review. Keep in mind, I'm new, this is my first antenna. Initially I was a bit worried because the antenna is 3' too short. It should measure 22' on one leg and 44' on the other leg for a total of 66' to make a 1/2 wave 40. Well, the long leg is only 41'. Disappointed (and reason for only 4 stars) I figured I'd install it and add 3' if it just doesn't tune. I'm a bit antenna restricted, but I did get permission to put 3 masts on my house, so I have the feed point balun at 17' and then ends at 15', about a 130degree angle, so a sorta wide V but still in spec. At 20 meters this antenna tunes beautifully! I'm in Fort Worth, Texas and I've QSL'd Frankfurt Germany and Kubrat Bulgaria! Plus big guns, POTA and rag chews from Michigan to Connecticut to North Carolina.I can successfully tune 40m, 20m, 17m, 15, 10 and 6. I was able to tune 80m once but it depends on where I am in the band. This is all with the built in tuner on my FTDX-10. If I get an external tuner I'll be golden everywhere. (Hoping to score an MFJ-939Y somewhere) I think, over time, I'll slowly replace my masts, increasing them 2' or so each time, you know, kinda work my way up and not be noticed. ;-)

Read before you buy.
Bought the dipole antenna without checking to see what frequency it ran on. 40 meters too high for my 2 meter radio. Need to pay more attention to detail when ordering something. Other than that I will still use the antenna later on a different radio more suited to 40 meters.

Not what they claim
Haven't been able to tune it on anything other than 40 meters, 10,15,20 is impossible, I don't think it's the length they are suggesting and cant reach a customer service, showing continuity betwee hot and ground of SO239 connector, could have put that money towards a proven G5RV instead.

Ok, but need a healthy tuner
For me, no luck without tuner at 600 watts.

Terrible quality control
I purchased the DX-40 for travelling. I tried to use it overseas and discovered serious resonance issues. I called their tech support line and was told that their antennas are cut long and I should remove 1 ft from both legs, something I did not do. I returned home to the States and could not reach their support line nor did I receive any answers to my emails. Finally I decided to measure the antenna. It was over 5 feet too short.I soldered the extra 5 ft to make it resonant in the CW portion. In other words, the antenna was cut too short by the manufacturer. Otherwise it's a fair portable antenna as long as you measure it before using.
