Good Boot, Sz 9 US M
Bought a used (like new) version of these boots as I am in the process of trying several for fishing, running, and hiking in cold weather. I have been extremely happy thus far.FIT: Small/True to Size If I had a decision I would have bought an 8 not a 9 based on these reviews (I wear an 8.5/9). (9 does fit but I like my shoes as snug as possible.) There are some complaints about the big toe being too short here. I have a nubby big toe and don't have this problem, but looking at the construction it appears that really the (4th toe area is longer than usual). Some people's 4th toe is longer than their big toe, so it looks like O'Neill left a little breathing room here to accommodate different shaped feet. I would say if you want the best fit, select true to size so it fits your big toe (where size is measured) but anticipate some extra space in the other toes. That was the only drawback to this shoe.DURABILITY: A I run in this shoe, after about 50 miles on pavement and two fishing trips it shows no wear. The feel of the road is better than most barefoot shoes (which are 2x the price). I am definitely happy with how this shoe has held up.FEEL: A I was concerned that I would have a difficult time getting these on and off. Not the case. They are snug enough to stay in place when waterlogged and I am running yet go on and off easily because the Neoprene is super stretchy. The rubber on the bottom is a good mix between feel and protection. I have no problem running across gravel in these puppies, but I do have built up foot durability.Construction Quality: A They are made well. I beat the crap out of them and they haven't fallen apart. For inexpensive boots you can't beat that.WARMTH: Surprising After running in the snow at -7 C I was surprised my feet weren't cold. Standing still these have kept me warm in 40 C water with ice around, but these are not meant to go that low. Recently I went fishing with the air temp 5 C and the water temp about the same and waterlogged standing around these also did the job. I wanted 5 mm boots, but these are good for most non-surfing applications in cold weather.OVERALL: A I am extremely happy with these.

These boots are pretty comfy. I ordered a few different sizes (8, 9, and 10) because I was unsure of what would fit best. I ended up going with the 10s. I normally wear size 8.5-9 so I thought the 9 might fit well but it was a little snug. The 8 was way to small. The 10 was much more spacious and easier to get into and out of, which is why I went with it. Also, there's a little more give at the toe box, which I was afraid of with the 9s not having as much (it might have started getting uncomfortable, stubbed toes, etc after a bit of walking). I've used these several times for surf fishing and they work pretty well. They do get a little heavy when water gets inside, but they do a good job "protecting" my feet (although, probably not if you step on a stingray!). The velcro straps could be better but they do help with keep some water out and more importantly sand. Some sand will get in but not uncomfortable amounts. So far so good. Hopefully they hold up for a while.UPDATE: I've taken these out several more times and they do really well on sandy beaches. They're definitely uncomfortable walking around on rocks and rocky beaches though, so I would advise against that - very little support, which is fine since aqua socks are not that much better. I tried 'surf' fishing around super rocky (5-8" sized smooth stones) shoreline in Baja and it was painful.

Runs about 2x too small!
These run small. I measure a 6.5 in Womens. In Europena sizes, I take a 37. I would say that their Men's 7 is more like a Women's 7.I am not and have never been and never will be a Men's 7 or a women's 8.5, but that's what I'm having to order because they are so short. The trouble with the snug fit, is that this does not stretch out.Where I live, it's normally in the 60s, so for me, it's really cold when I get out of the water. I like my toes to stay toasty.I measured my foot again just to be sure and I'm 23.5 cm or 9.25 inches. That shouldn't be a women's 8/ men's 7. It should be a women's 7. Whatever. I guess I'm trying the next size up for the 2nd time. If the 7 ends up working out, I'll revise this review.

For Beach Volleyball
Son bought these for me for beach VB. Haven't worn them for summer heat, rather Winter cold as we're die hard players that need to play year round. We live in SoCal, so it's never really cold. These keep your feet very toasty, so summer time might be unbearable (But we have other socks for that). It feels like you lose the use of your pinky toes for grip (these are truly diving shoes and made narrowly around the pinky to easily slide into fins), but perform well for VB. Once you're use to this it becomes a non issue. If I hadn't mentioned it you might not even have the same experience. Sand stays out well with the velcro help. Neoprene is thin enough for decent movement. Would recommend. Cheers

Not Bad
I bought these to use with my JS550SX. I installed footholds and they were tearing up my feet, these boots make it tolerable to ride now. I know they were made for diving, and not for riding a stand up, but they do an alright job. I wouldn't recommend them for use with a jet ski though because if you go down hard, they have a tendency to almost slide off your feet, no matter how tight you make the velcro straps.I haven't used them for diving yet, but I'm sure they'll do just fine.

Had to exchange but it worked out great
I received these boots quickly and they looked fine, but the seem was off on the toe of one boot and it was very uncomfortable. I requested an exchange and it was completed without any issues. I received the new pair two days later and returned the original pair with an Amazon prepaid label that was provided. The new boots fit great and are very comfortable. If I had received the 2nd pair first this would have been a 5 star review. I would recommend this product.
