Richland® 3" X 6" Hand Poured Pillar Candle Dark Green

it's difficult to find unscented poured pillar candles in beautiful colors. If you can find them, they are usually poorly made, with aerated wax that burns too quickly and smokes. The Richland candles are proportioned correctly, made with solid creamy wax and a thicker wick to prevent wick-drowning or core-burning. The colors are rich and gorgeous just like the photos, and the color runs all the way through - not white with a color dip. They're long-burning and nearly odorless. Whether you just decorate with these or actually use them (as I do), they're a very high quality candle for a really good price. I'll be ordering more!As you can see from the photo, if you take a few minutes to "train" the wick as the candle begins to burn down, these candles will not drown the wicks, tunnel, spill/drip, or core-burn. The wax is the perfect consistency and the wick is the correct size for pillar candles that can actually be used safely and efficiently, as well as look beautiful. Can't rate them higher:

so for the first part of the burn the candle burned lopsided; as in almost one entire side of the candle melted, while the other side remained intact. I've never seen a candle do that before. I decided to try again, and eventually it evened out with some doctoring, but beware because the initial uneven burning created a fire hazard, and wax melted everywhere, creating a pretty big mess. Not sure if that was a fluke, but thought it would be important to share.

It wasn't what I had expected or wanted. Ask for return slip, very surprised to be told I could keep the candle and my money was refunded in full. I used the candle on my table for Easter and it worked ok, but, still not what I had wanted. Thank you for full refund.

Nice candles at a good price that burned well. Will reorder. I have reordered several times and am always pleased. They arrive quickly and in perfect order. No nicks like on other candles I have ordered. They burn well with no smoke. They are also well priced and scentless. Who could ask for more? They are wonderful.

The candles came as expected in the size and colors that were listed on the page.

We used it for an Advent candle with our wreath. Didn't burn fast still good for next year.

Candles were awesome and perfect cranberry red just as pictured. Only problem was that one of the candles was crushed a ittle on the bottom. It was how it was packed in the box. I should've sent back but it was too much trouble. This is why I only gave this 4 starts instead of 5 as these candles are awesome quality! I'm going to order green for St. Patty's Day.

This pillar candle is of good quality and the scent is mild and pleasant. There is no variation in the color of the wax. It is solid pink, all exactly the same shade of pink. The wax is shiny.
