Surprisingly effective! Works well to insulate the sharp edges of the toenail where it irritates the sensitive toenail skin. The provided tool gently lifts the nail edges to create space between the nail and skin to slide the semi-circular "track" along the side edges of the toenail. Than trim off any leftover track that hangs out so it doesn't catch on anything. I'm very active so I also locked them in place with reinforced clear nail polish. I've had them on my toe for a week or so now and they shift along with the nail growth while continuing to protect the skin.

The opening in the guards are way too small to fit over my nail. I wasn't able to use these at all.

I couldn't get the strips to stay on but its ok because these tools are awesome. I used them and for the first time in years I was able to have some pain relief. They're easy to use and feel sturdy. It's satisfying to be able to "pull out" the ingrown toenail, kind of like watching pimple popping videos. I gave 4 stars because of the strips but the tools would get 5.

Corrector strips are only about 1/2" instead of .95" as indicated. I bought this kit because I needed the longer strip you promised, not short like most all the others being sold.

The little straw thing is tricky to keep in place so I wore a bandaid and my toe healed quickly

Giving it two stars because the two tools supplied are pretty nice and useful. The plastic strips don't make much sense. The grove in them is not deep enough to cling to a toenail and there is no adhesive to hold them in place.

I feel like this was such a strange thing to purchase but this was such a good purchase! It helps guide my toe nail as it grows out. I don’t use it all the time, just when the toenail bothers me

Just disassembled. Not even thick nails. Just poor design .
