This reader failed to read any tags apart from the ones that shipped with it. I got another model for around the same price which read the tags that this one could not. Save yourself the money, buy a different model.

Like the title says…. It works… I mean… it powers on and it will detect the cards and fobs that are supplied with it… and it was able to read a door security card that I needed to copy… but that’s where it all went wrong…. It wasn’t able to write to the new card and then corrupted the new card so it couldn’t be read or written to 🤷🏼‍♂️… twice…. So I gave up and went to a security key card specialist instead 🫣

Sometimes works sometimes doesnt, not as universal as it may seem but very useful for hotels and gym, just some fobs for my building could not be replicated

Writer seemed to read and then write after some repositioning of the crystal (for lightsabers) and everything was looking good but when I came to change the code again all I got was write errors. Seems (after googling around) that this reader/writer is one of two different copiers that look identical. One works the other doesn't. This is the one that doesn't work.Save yourselves some time and go for the proxmark3 if you want to reprogram your kyber crystal.

I have tried to copy a door key fob but it won’t read the fob. I did find it would read a credit card which is not much use.

Don’t waste your money- states it can read and write however doesnt
