Kid loves it!
I had no idea it would work on a window. But he got it working and reworked it for hours! It's a fun toy.

Does not stick well
My grandson loves marble runs. I thought this set would be a good way for him to start experimenting with designing his own runs. He was so excited, he put a marble down and bumped a piece and it fell away. Pieces barely placed for the first time fell off after a few minutes. Also the marbles on this run are smaller and lighter. Regular marbles will not work. Over all disappointed.

Meh
These do not work well and the magnets are weak and they fall off the white board easily.

It's ok, if you want fun for a day.
I put the item on the refrigerator for my 4 year old son, however the tape does not stick for a long time, especially if you intend on moving it to different spots within the home. It can make different patterns, and courses for the marble to follow, but my son enjoyed it for a day or 2, and moved on to the next means of entertainment.

Good introduction to a marble run
This set is a good introduction to the concept of a marble run - angles, momentum, connections. The pieces are on the smaller side, and the final build is therefore also smaller. It does provide more control and visualization than a marble maze, so it provides more of a hands-on experience. The pieces can be manipulated to try different things. The pieces are lightweight and stick only to smooth surfaces. There are 10 cards with challenges. The child can build the track according to the challenge. There are questions to make the child think about how to adjust the track to make different things happen - for example, speed, entry point, or angles. The geometric patterns and colors are attractive to kids.Overall this is a decent set that provides hands-on manipulation for experimenting and trial & error. The challenges have some questions that help the child think about concepts related to physics.

Nice idea, but doesn’t stay on any surface.
We tried this product on the fridge, window, and walls of our home. Even when the wrapper was first removed the pieces would not stay on any of the surfaces long enough to even try to run the marble. It was highly frustrating for the kids and adults trying to make them adhere to the surface, and to them not even get to try it because when one should stay then next would fall off. Definitely do not recommend for any age.
